     She was also known as Isabel Francis Ulrica Iris Douglas-Hamilton. In 1896 she was given the rank of Duke’s daughter.¹ From 8 July 1897, her married name became Ryder.

     Cyril John Ryder was born on 8 July 1863 at Bovingdon, Hertfordshire, England^G.^2,3 He was the son of Dudley Henry Ryder and Georgiana Emily Calcraft.² He married Lady Isobel Frances Ulrica Iris Hamilton, daughter of Captain Charles Henry Hamilton and Elizabeth Anne Hill, on 8 July 1897.¹ He died on 28 December 1907 at age 44 at canford, Dorset, England^G.^2,3

Robert Montagu Poore, son of Major Robert Poore and Juliana Benita Lowry-Corry, on 29 September 1898.¹ She died on 27 January 1957 at Wimbourne, Dorset, England^G, without issue.^1,2
     In 1896 she was given the rank of Duke’s daughter.¹ From 29 September 1898, her married name became Poore.

     Brig.-Gen. Robert Montagu Poore was born on 20 March 1866 at Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland^G.² He was the son of Major Robert Poore and Juliana Benita Lowry-Corry.³ He married Lady Flora Maria Ida Hamilton, daughter of Captain Charles Henry Hamilton and Elizabeth Anne Hill, on 29 September 1898.¹ He died on 14 July 1938 at age 72 at Boscombe, Hampshire, England^G.²
     He fought in the Matabele and Mashonaland Campaigns between 1896 and 1897, where he was mentioned in despatches.⁴ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dorset.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.⁴ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.⁴ He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1915.⁴ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 7th Hussars.⁴

     Sarah Julia Spence was born in 1843 at Heury, County Armagh, Ireland^G.² She was the daughter of Captain Samuel Spence and Charlotte Spence.^1,2 She married Captain Charles Henry Hamilton, son of Augustus Barrington Price Anne Powell Hamilton and Maria Catherine Hyde, on 21 October 1873.¹ She died on 29 February 1880 at Isle of Wight, England^G.¹
     From 21 October 1873, her married name became Hamilton.¹ Her married name became Douglas-Hamilton.

     Emma Catherine Frances Coventry was born in 1811.² She was the daughter of Thomas Darby Coventry and Harriet Wildman Hunter Esten.^1,2 She married Colonel Francis Seymour Douglas-Hamilton, son of Augustus Barrington Price Anne Powell Hamilton and Maria Catherine Hyde, on 6 September 1834.¹ She died on 7 January 1868 at Menton, France^G.^1,2
     From 6 September 1834, her married name became Douglas-Hamilton.

     Thomas Darby Coventry was born on 3 March 1782.² He was the son of Richard Darby and Elizabeth Hawkins.² He married Harriet Wildman Hunter Esten, daughter of Lieutenant James Esten and Harriet Pye Bennett. He died in 1842.²
     He was given the name of Thomas Darby at birth.² He was educated between 1804 and 1807 at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² Circa 1806 his name was legally changed to Thomas Darby Coventry under the terms of the will of his gerat-uncle, Thomas Coventry.² He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He held the office of High Sheriff of Oxfordshire between 1812 and 1813.² He lived at Greenlands, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹
