     She was educated at Maldon Grammar School, Maldon, Essex, England^G.¹ From 1934, her married name became Boyle.¹

     Mary Waugh was born on 1 December 1940.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Evelyn St. John Waugh and Laura Laetitia Gwendolen Evelyn Herbert.² She died on 2 December 1940.²

     F/Lt. Douglas Boyle was born on 28 March 1914 at Westbury On Severn, Gloucestershire, England.^1,2 He was the son of Reverend James Boyle and Edith Lena Catherine Douglas-Hamilton.¹ He married Eva Matilda Davies, daughter of William John Davies, on 26 June 1941.¹ He died on 15 June 1944 at age 30 at Cape Tres Forcas, Morrocco, killed in action in a PBY Catalina crash.¹ He was buried on 16 June 1944 at Cementario Municipal de la Purisima Conception de Melila, Morrocco.³
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Captain Henry Charles Hugh FitzHerbert was born on 12 July 1908.² He was the son of Eden Fitzherbert and Dorothy Rose Duphoi Newell.³ He married Sheelah Mary Murphy, daughter of Joseph Xavier Murphy, on 24 May 1934.² He died on 3 April 1945 at age 36, killed in action.²
     He was a stockbroker.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Irish Guards.¹ He fought in the Second World War.²

     Eva Matilda Davies was born on 2 April 1913 at Wales.¹ She was the daughter of William John Davies.¹ She married F/Lt. Douglas Boyle, son of Reverend James Boyle and Edith Lena Catherine Douglas-Hamilton, on 26 June 1941.¹ She died in 1972 at London, England.¹
     From 26 June 1941, her married name became Boyle.¹

     Betty Boyle was born on 15 September 1915.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend James Boyle and Edith Lena Catherine Douglas-Hamilton.¹ She married Dennis Allen Coulter Trezise Hancock, son of Dr. Allen Coulter Hancock and Vera Primrose Branwell.¹ She died in 2002 at Combe Florey, Somerset, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Hancock.¹
