     Friedrich Karl Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck was born on 20 August 1757.² He was the son of Karl Anton August Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck and Friederike Gräfin von Dohna-Schlobitten-Leistenau.^1,3 He married Friederike Amalie Gräfin von Schlieben, daughter of Karl Leopold Graf von Schlieben and Marie Eleanore Gräfin von Lehndorff, on 9 March 1780.³ He died on 25 March 1816 at age 58 at Wellingsbuttel^G.²
     He gained the title of Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck.³

     Frederik Wilhelm Paul Leopold Herzog zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg was born on 4 January 1785 at Lindenau, Königsberg, Prussia, Russia^G.^2,3 He was the son of Friedrich Karl Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck and Friederike Amalie Gräfin von Schlieben.^1,4 He married Luise Karoline Prinzessin von Hessen-Kassel, daughter of Karl Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel and Louise Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, on 28 January 1810 at Gottorp^G.² He died on 27 February 1831 at age 46 at Gottorp^G.²
     He gained the title of Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck in 1816. He gained the rank of Major-General in the Danish Army.³ He gained the title of Herzog zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg in 1825.²

     Johann Adolf Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp was born on 27 February 1575. He was the son of Adolf Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp and Christine von Hessen.^1,2 He married Augusta Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, daughter of Frederik II Oldenburg, King of Denmark and Sophia von Mecklenburg-Güstrow, on 30 August 1596 at Copenhagen, Denmark^G. He died on 31 March 1616 at age 41.
     He gained the title of Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp.²

     Christian August Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp was born on 11 January 1673. He was the son of Christian Albrecht Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp and Frederica Amalie Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark.² He married Albertine Markgräfin von Baden-Durlach, daughter of Friedrich VII Magnus Markgraf von Baden-Durlach and Auguste Marie Prinzessin von Holstein-Gottorp, on 2 September 1704. He died in 1726.²
     He gained the title of Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp.² He held the office of Bishop of Lubeck.

     Christian Albrecht Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp was born on 3 February 1641. He was the son of Friedrich III Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp and Marie Elisabeth Herzogin von Sachsen.² He married Frederica Amalie Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, daughter of Frederik III Oldenburg, King of Denmark and Sophie Amelie Prinzessin von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, on 24 October 1667. He died on 6 January 1695 at age 53.
     He gained the title of Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp. He held the office of Bishop of Lubeck between 1655 and 1666.

     Friedrich IV von Holstein-Gottorp, Duke of Holstein-Gottorp was born on 18 October 1671. He was the son of Christian Albrecht Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp and Frederica Amalie Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark.^1,2 He married Hedwig Sophie von Holstein-Gottorp, daughter of Carl XI von Holstein-Gottorp, King of Sweden and Ulrike Eleanore Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, on 12 June 1698 at Carlberg^G. He died on 19 July 1702 at age 30 at Klisson, Poland^G, killed.
     He gained the title of Duke of Holstein-Gottorp.³

     Karl Friedrich von Holstein-Gottorp, Duke of Holstein-Gottorp was born on 30 April 1700 at Stockholm, Sweden^G. He was the son of Friedrich IV von Holstein-Gottorp, Duke of Holstein-Gottorp and Hedwig Sophie von Holstein-Gottorp.¹ He married Anna Petrovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia, daughter of Petr I ‘the Great’ Alexeiovich Romanov, Tsar of Russia and Ekaterina I Skavronska, Tsarina of Russia, on 1 June 1725 at St. Petersburg, Russia^G. He died on 18 June 1739 at age 39 at Rolfshagen, Germany^G.
     He gained the title of Duke of Holstein-Gottorp.

     Karl XIII von Holstein-Gottorp, King of Sweden was born on 7 October 1748 at Stockholm, Sweden^G.² He was the son of Adolf Frederik I von Holstein-Gottorp, King of Sweden and Luise Ulrike Prinzessin von Preußen.¹ He married Hedwige Elisabeth Charlotte Oldenburg, Princess of Oldenburg, daughter of Friedrich August Oldenburg, Grand Duke of Oldenburg and Ulrike Friederike Wilhelmine Prinzessin von Hessen-Kassel, on 7 July 1774 at Stockholm, Sweden^G.¹ He died on 5 February 1818 at age 69 at Stockholm, Sweden^G.²
     He gained the title of Prince Carl of Sweden.² He held the office of Regent of Sweden between 29 March 1792 and 6 June 1809.² He and Hedwige Elisabeth Charlotte Oldenburg, Princess of Oldenburg were adopted. He succeeded as the King Karl XIII of Sweden on 6 June 1809.² He succeeded as the King Karl XIII of Norway in 1814.³

     Georg Ludwig Prinz von Holstein-Gottorp was born on 16 March 1719. He was the son of Christian August Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp and Albertine Markgräfin von Baden-Durlach.^2,3 He married Sophie Charlotte von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck, daughter of Friedrich Wilhelm II Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck and Ursula Anna von Dohna-Schlodien-Carwinden, on 1 January 1750. He died on 7 September 1763 at age 44. He was also reported to have died in 1761.²
     He gained the title of Herzog von Holstein-Gottorp. He gained the title of Prinz von Holstein-Gottorp.¹

     Peter I Friedrich Ludwig von Holstein-Gottorp, Grand Duke of Oldenburg was born on 17 January 1755 at Riesenburg^G.² He was the son of Georg Ludwig Prinz von Holstein-Gottorp and Sophie Charlotte von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck.^1,3 He married Friederike Herzogin von Württemberg, daughter of Friedrich II Eugen Heinrich Herzog von Württemberg and Friederike Dorothea Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Schwedt, on 6 June 1781.² He was also reported to have been married on 26 June 1781. He died on 21 May 1829 at age 74 at Wiesbaden, Hessen, Germany^G.¹
     He gained the title of Herzog von Oldenburg in 1803.¹ He gained the title of Grand Duke Peter I of Oldenburg on 9 June 1815.²
