Sir John de Swinton of that Ilk1

He served in France under John of Gaunt, and his brothers.3 On 9 June 1383 his charter of Little Swinton, was confirmed and ratified by a bull of Pope Clement VII.3 After his marriage, Sir John de Swinton of that Ilk was styled as Lord of Mar circa 1386. He fought in the Battle of Otterburn in 1388, where he commanded Scottish troops.3 He fought in the Battle of Homildon Hill on 14 September 1402.

Robert Stewart, 1st Lord Lorn1 
He was a Commissioner to England for the release for King James I in 1421.3 Between 1424 and 1429 he was one of the hostages for the payment of King James I of Scotland’s ransom.1 In 1425 he was one of the peers who tried and comdemned the ex-Regent Albany.3 He was created 1st Lord Lorn [Scotland] before 5 September 1439.1 He lived at Innermeath, ScotlandG.

John Stewart, 2nd Lord Lorn1 
He gained the title of 2nd Lord Lorn [S., 1439] circa 1448.1 John Stewart, 2nd Lord Lorn also went by the nick-name of ‘Muireach’ (or in English, ‘the Leper.4‘) Between 1449 and 1455 he sat in the Scottish Parliament as Lord Lorn.2 He is said to have married on his death-bed (but this was not recognised by the authorities.)4

Walter Stewart, 1st Lord Innermeath1 
He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Lorn [S., 1439] on 20 December 1463.3 He was created 1st Lord Innermeath [Scotland] on 30 November 1469.2 He abdicated as Lord Lorn on 30 November 1469.2
