     Henry Bull Templar Strangeways was born in 1832 at Shapwick, Somerset, England.¹ He was the son of Henry Bull Strangeways and Sophia Jane Templer.^1,2 He married Maria Cordelia Wigley, daughter of Henry Wigley, on 10 January 1857.¹ He died on 10 February 1920.¹
     He was admitted to Middle Temple on 6 June 1856 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Member of the Legislative Assemby (M.L.A.) [South Australia] between 1858 and 1862.¹ He held the office of Attorney-General [South Australia] between 1860 and 1861.¹ He held the office of Minister for Crown Lands and Immigration [South Australia] between 1861 and 1865.¹ He was admitted to South Australian Bar on 8 August 1861.¹ He held the office of Member of the Legislative Assemby (M.L.A.) [South Australia] between 1862 and 1871.¹ He held the office of Premier [South Australia] between 1868 and 1870.¹ He held the office of Attorney-General [South Australia] between 1868 and 1870.¹

     Joan (?) married Sir John de Swinton of that Ilk, son of Henry Swinton of Swinton.¹ She died in 1374.¹

     Maria Cordelia Wigley is the daughter of Henry Wigley.¹ She married Henry Bull Templar Strangeways, son of Henry Bull Strangeways and Sophia Jane Templer, on 10 January 1857.¹
     From 10 January 1857, her married name became Strangeways.¹

     Fanny Reeks Wray was born in 1831 at London, England.¹ She married Robert Wintle Hellings, son of Robert Hawkins Hellings and Harriett Wintle, on 26 November 1856 at Swainswick Church, Bath, Somerset, England.¹ She died on 13 September 1911 at London Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹
     From 26 November 1856, her married name became Hellings.¹

     Lady Marjory Dunbar is the daughter of George Dunbar, 10th Earl of Dunbar.² She married, firstly, Sir John Swinton of that Ilk, son of Sir John de Swinton of that Ilk and Lady Margaret Stewart, circa 1423.¹
     From circa 1423, her married name became Swinton. From circa April 1433, her married name became Stirling.¹

     Henry Wigley was a stipendiary magistrate.¹

     Sir John Swinton, 17th of that Ilk was the son of Sir John Swinton of that Ilk.² He married, secondly, Elizabeth Cunninghame.¹ He married, firstly, Katrine Lauder, daughter of Sir Robert Lauder of the Bass, in 1475.¹ He died circa 1520.¹

     Sir Robert Lauder of the Bass held the office of Governor of Edinburgh Castle.¹ He held the office of Justiciary of the Lothians.¹

     Katrine Lauder is the daughter of Sir Robert Lauder of the Bass.² She married Sir John Swinton, 17th of that Ilk, son of Sir John Swinton of that Ilk, in 1475.¹
     From 1475, her married name became Swinton.

     Sophia Jane Templer was born on 6 April 1808.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend George Henry Templer and Anna Maria Graham.¹ She was baptised on 20 June 1809 at St. James’s Church, Westminster, London, England.¹ She married Henry Bull Strangeways, son of Henry Bull Strangeways, on 22 September 1830.¹
     From 22 September 1830, her married name became Strangeways.¹
