He was the son of Leopold I von Österreich, Holy Roman Emperor and Eleanore Magdalene Theresia Pfalzgräfin von Neuburg. He married Elisabeth Christine Prinzessin von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, daughter of Ludwig Rudolf Herzog von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel and Christine Luise Prinzessin von Oettingen, in 1708 at Matero^G.³ He died on 20 October 1740 at age 55 at Vienna, Austria^G.
     He was a member of the House of Habsburg.⁴ He gained the title of Erzherzog von Österreich. He succeeded as the Emperor Karl VI of the Holy Roman Empire in 1711.³

     Maria Theresia Amalia Walburga Erzherzogin von Österreich was born on 13 May 1717 at Vienna, Austria^G.³ She was the daughter of Karl VI von Österreich, Holy Roman Emperor and Elisabeth Christine Prinzessin von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel.³ She married Franz I Stefan de Lorraine, Holy Roman Emperor, son of Léopold Joseph Charles, Duc de Lorraine and Elisabeth Charlotte d‘Orléans, on 12 February 1736 at Vienna, Austria^G.³ She died on 29 November 1780 at age 63 at Vienna, Austria^G.³ She was buried at Capuchin Church, Vienna, Austria^G.³
     She succeeded as the Maria Theresia Königin von Ungarn und Böhmen on 20 October 1740, suo jure.³ She was crowned ‘King’ of Hungary on 25 June 1741 at Preßburg^G.³ She was crowned Queen of Bohemia on 12 May 1743 at Prague, Czech Republic^G.³

     Karl Joseph Erzherzog von Österreich was born on 1 February 1745 at Vienna, Austria^G.³ He was the son of Franz I Stefan de Lorraine, Holy Roman Emperor and Maria Theresia Amalia Walburga Erzherzogin von Österreich.¹ He died on 18 January 1761 at age 15 at Vienna, Austria^G.³ He was buried at Capuchin Church, Vienna, Austria^G.³
     He was given the name of Karl Joseph Emmanuel Johann Nepomuk Anton Prokop at birth.³

     Josef II von Österreich, Holy Roman Emperor was born on 13 March 1741 at Schloss Schönbrunn, Vienna, Austria^G.³ He was the son of Franz I Stefan de Lorraine, Holy Roman Emperor and Maria Theresia Amalia Walburga Erzherzogin von Österreich.⁴ He married, firstly, Maria Isabella di Borbone, Infanta de España, daughter of Filippo di Borbone, Duca di Parma and Louise Elisabeth de Bourbon, on 6 October 1760 at Vienna, Austria^G.³ He married, secondly, Maria Josefa Prinzessin von Bayern, daughter of Karl VII Albrecht von Bayern, Holy Roman Emperor and Maria Amalia Erzherzogin von Österreich, on 23 January 1765 at Schloss Schönbrunn, Vienna, Austria^G.³ He died on 20 February 1790 at age 48 at Vienna, Austria^G.³ He was buried at Capuchin Church, Vienna, Austria^G.³
     He was a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine.⁴ He gained the title of Erzherzog von Österreich (styled as HI&RH Archduke of Austria.³) He was given the name of Joseph Benedict August Johann Anton Michael Adam at birth.⁴ He succeeded as the King Joseph II of the Romans on 27 March 1764.³ He succeeded as the Emperor Joseph II of the Holy Roman Empire on 3 April 1764.⁵ He was crowned Holy Roman Emperor on 3 April 1764 at Frankfurt-am-Main, Hessen, Germany^G.³ He succeeded as the Josef II König von Ungarn und Böhmen on 29 November 1780.³

     Eugène de Beauharnais, 1st Duc de Leuchtenberg was born on 3 November 1781.³ He was the son of Alexandre François Marie de Beauharnais, Vicomte de Beauharnais and Joséphine de Tascher de La Pagerie.⁴ He married Auguste Prinzessin von Bayern, daughter of Maximilian IV (I) Joseph König von Bayern and Auguste Wilhelmine Prinzessin von Hessen-Darmstadt, in 1806.⁵ He died on 21 February 1824 at age 42.³
     He gained the title of Fürst von Eichstädt.¹ He gained the title of Grand Duke Eugene of Frankfurt in 1810.⁴ He gained the title of 1st Duc de Leuchtenberg in 1817.⁴ He gained the title of Prince Eugène de Beauharnais.⁵

     Auguste Prinzessin von Bayern was born on 21 June 1788.³ She was the daughter of Maximilian IV (I) Joseph König von Bayern and Auguste Wilhelmine Prinzessin von Hessen-Darmstadt.³ She married Eugène de Beauharnais, 1st Duc de Leuchtenberg, son of Alexandre François Marie de Beauharnais, Vicomte de Beauharnais and Joséphine de Tascher de La Pagerie, in 1806.¹ She died on 13 May 1851 at age 62.³
     She gained the title of Prinzessin von Bayern.

     Tassilo Festetics Festetics von Tolna, Prince of Hungary was born in 1850.¹ He married Lady Mary Victoria Douglas-Hamilton, daughter of William Alexander Anthony Archibald Hamilton, 11th Duke of Hamilton and Marie Amelie Elisabeth Karoline Prinzessin von Baden, on 2 June 1880.² He died on 4 May 1933.³
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.)³ He gained the rank of officer in the Austrian Imperial Guard.³ He was created Prince Tassilo of Hungary on 21 June 1911.³

     Henri II, Roi de France was born on 31 March 1519 at Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Île-de-France, France^G. He was the son of François I, Roi de France and Claude de Valois, Duchesse de Bretagne.¹ He married Catherine de Medici, daughter of Lorenzo II de Medici, Duca di Urbino and Madeleine de la Tour, on 28 October 1533.⁵ He died on 10 July 1559 at age 40 at Paris, France^G, from a wound received in a jousting tournament a month earlier.⁶ He was buried at Saint-Denis, Île-de-France, France^G.
     He was a member of the House of Angoulême.¹ He and Diane de Poitiers, Duchesse de Valentinois were associated.² He gained the title of Duc d’Orléans. He succeeded as the Roi Henri II de France in 1547.^5,1 He and Janet Stewart were associated in 1551.⁷

     Catherine de Medici was born on 13 April 1519.¹ She was the daughter of Lorenzo II de Medici, Duca di Urbino and Madeleine de la Tour.⁴ She married Henri II, Roi de France, son of François I, Roi de France and Claude de Valois, Duchesse de Bretagne, on 28 October 1533.¹ She died on 5 January 1589 at age 69.
     She gained the title of Comtesse de Lauraguais.¹ She gained the title of Comtesse d’Auvergne.¹

     Claude de Valois, Duchesse de Bretagne was born on 13 October 1499 at Romorentin^G. She was the daughter of Louis XII, Roi de France and Anne de Dreux, Duchesse de Bretagne. She married François I, Roi de France, son of Charles d‘Orléans, Comte d’Angoulême and Luisa Principessa di Savoia-Piedmonte, on 18 May 1514 at Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Île-de-France, France^G. She died on 20 July 1524 at age 24.
