     Geoffrey Clarke married Elizabeth Idonia Boyle, daughter of John Ernest Boyle and Deirdre Anne Clarke.¹ He and Elizabeth Idonia Boyle were divorced.¹

     Samuel Ryan Clarke was born on 27 November 1996 at Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.¹ He is the son of Geoffrey Clarke and Elizabeth Idonia Boyle.¹

     Sir Archibald Primrose, Lord Carrington was born on 16 May 1616.² He was the son of James Primrose and Catherine Lawson.² He married, secondly, Agnes Gray, daughter of Sir William Gray of Pittendrum.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Keith, daughter of Sir James Keith of Benholme and Margaret Lindsay, before 1641.² He died on 27 November 1679 at age 63.²
     He was Clerk of the Privy Council between 1641 and 1649.² He was a Royalist during the Civil War.² In 1651 his estates were sequestered after the Battle of Worcester.² He was created 1st Baronet Primrose, of Carrington [Nova Scotia] on 1 August 1651.¹ He was Clerk of the Privy Council in 1652.² He held the office of Lord Clerk of the Register between 1660 and 1676.² He was styled as Lord Carrington [Scottish Law Lord] in February 1660/61.² He held the office of Lord of Session between February 1660/61 and 1676.² He purchased territorial Barony of Barnbougle, Dalmeny, co. Linlithgow for 160,000 marks in 1662 from John Hamilton, 4th Earl of Haddington.² He held the office of Lord-Justice General between 1676 and 1678.²

     Catherine Primrose was the daughter of Sir Archibald Primrose, Lord Carrington and Elizabeth Keith.^1,2 A contract for the marriage of Catherine Primrose and Sir David Carnegie, 1st Bt. was signed on 29 October 1663.³ She died circa 6 October 1677.² She was buried on 9 October 1677.²
     From 29 October 1663, her married name became Carnegie.¹

     Jean Burnett was the daughter of James Burnett.¹ She married Sir David Carnegie, 1st Bt., son of Hon. Sir Alexander Carnegie and Margaret Arbuthnott, circa 1696.^1,2 She died in May 1740.¹

     James Burnett lived at Kair, Scotland^G.¹ He lived at Lagaron, Scotland^G.¹

     Christian Doig was born circa 1729.¹ She was the daughter of David Doig and Magdalen Symmers.¹ She married Sir James Carnegie of Pittarrow, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Carnegie of Pittarrow, 2nd Bt. and Mary Burnett, on 5 July 1752.¹ She died on 4 November 1820.¹
     From 5 July 1752, her married name became Carnegie.¹
