     Bernard III Kurfürst von Sachsen was born in 1140. He was the son of Albrecht I Markgraf von Brandenburg. He married, thirdly, Judith of Poland, daughter of Mieszko III, Duke of Poland and Elisabeth Arpád.¹ He married, firstly, Brigitte (?), daughter of Knud V Magnuson, King of Denmark.¹ He married, secondly, Sophia von Thüringen, daughter of Ludwig II Landgraf von Thüringen.¹ He died on 2 February 1212.¹
     He gained the title of Kurfürst von Sachsen. He gained the title of Graf von Anhalt.

     Heinrich III Graf von Wettin was born circa 1205. He was the son of Ulric I Graf von Wettin and Hedwig von Sachsen. He died on 25 March 1217.
     He gained the title of Graf von Wettin.

     Friedrich I Graf von Brehna was born between 1142 and 1145. He was the son of Conrad Markgraf von Meißen and Luitgarde von Swabia. He died circa 1266/67.

     Edmund Beckett, 1st Baron Grimthorpe was born on 12 May 1816.² He was the son of Sir Edmund Beckett, 4th Bt. and Maria Beverley.^2,3 He married Fanny Catherine Lonsdale, daughter of Rt. Rev. John Lonsdale and Sophia Boland, on 7 October 1845.³ He died on 29 April 1905 at age 88, without issue.³
     He was given the name of Edmund Beckett-Denison at birth.³ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1838 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)³ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1841 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)³ He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1841 entitled to practise as a barrister.³ He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1854.³ He held the office of Bencher of Lincon’s Inn in 1854.³ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1863.³ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Beckett, of Leeds, co. Yorks and Somerby Park, Gainsboorugh, co. Lincoln [U.K., 1813] on 24 May 1874.² On 24 May 1874 his name was legally changed to Edmund Beckett on succeeding his father.³ He held the office of Treasurer of Lincoln’s Inn in 1876.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding of Yorkshire.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.³ He was Chancellor and Vicar-General of York between 1877 and 1900.³ He was created 1st Baron Grimthorpe, of Grimthorpe, in the East Riding, co. York [U.K.] on 17 February 1886, with a special remainder to the heirs male of his father.²

     Gertrude von Meißen was the daughter of Conrad Markgraf von Meißen and Luitgarde von Swabia.

     Sophie von Meißen was the daughter of Conrad Markgraf von Meißen and Luitgarde von Swabia.

     Agnes von Meißen was the daughter of Conrad Markgraf von Meißen and Luitgarde von Swabia. She died on 21 January 1203.
     She was the Abbess at Quedlinburg^G.

     Frederick Patrick Piers Baron von Westenholz was born in 1943.² He is the son of Henry Frederick Everhard Baron von Westenholz and Marguerite Gordon Ness.^1,2 He married, firstly, Sarah Arabella Marjorie von Hofmannsthal, daughter of Raimund von Hofmannsthal and Lady Elizabeth Hester Mary Paget, on 17 June 1964.¹ He and Sarah Arabella Marjorie von Hofmannsthal were divorced in 1969.¹ He married, secondly, Jane Leveson, daughter of Arthur Edmund Leveson and Margaret Ruth Maude, in 1979.²
     Frederick Patrick Piers Baron von Westenholz usually went by his middle name of Piers.¹

     Henry Frederick Everhard Baron von Westenholz was born in 1916.² He was the son of Paul Eberhard Freiherr von Westenholz.³ He married, firstly, Marguerite Gordon Ness in 1941.² He and Marguerite Gordon Ness were divorced in 1968.² He married, secondly, Flora Evelyn Innes Stuart in 1969.² He died in 1984.²
