Sir Edmund Beckett, 4th Bt.1 
He was given the name of Edmund Beckett at birth.2 On 8 September 1816 his name was legally changed to Edmund Beckett-Denison by Royal Licence.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the West Riding of Yorkshire between 1841 and 1859.3 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Beckett, of Leeds, co. Yorks and Somerby Park, Gainsboorugh, co. Lincoln [U.K., 1813] on 17 November 1872.2 On 9 December 1872 his name was legally changed to Edmund Beckett again by Royal Licence.2
