Anne Elizabeth Cholmley1

Anne Elizabeth Cholmley was born on 7 November 1769 at Scrayingham, Yorkshire, England.3 She was the daughter of Nathaniel Cholmley and Henrietta Catherine Croft.1,4 She married Constantine John Phipps, 2nd Baron Mulgrave of New Ross, son of Constantine Phipps, 1st Baron Mulgrave of New Ross and Hon. Lepell Hervey, on 20 June 1787.1 She died on 22 May 1788 at age 18.1
From 20 June 1787, her married name became Phipps. After her marriage, Anne Elizabeth Cholmley was styled as Baroness Mulgrave of New Ross on 20 June 1787.

Nathaniel Cholmley was born on 15 November 1721.3 He was the son of Hugh Cholmley and Catherine Wentworth.4 He married, firstly, Katherine Winn, daughter of Sir Rowland Winn, 4th Bt. and Susanna Henshaw, on 8 June 1750 at York, Yorkshire, England.3,5 He married Anne Jesse Smelt, daughter of Leonard Smelt, on 22 August 1774.6 He married, secondly, Henrietta Catherine Croft, daughter of Stephen Croft and Henrietta Thompson, on 11 September 1757.7 He died on 11 March 1791 at age 69.3
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aldborough between 1756 and 1768.1,3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boroughbridge between 1768 and 1774.3 He lived at Whitby, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Howsham, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1
