James Angus Graham, 7th Duke of Montrose was born on 2 May 1907.1 He was the son of James Graham, 6th Duke of Montrose and Lady Mary Louise Douglas-Hamilton.1 He married, firstly, Isabel Veronia Sellar, daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Byrne Sellar, on 30 October 1930.1 He and Isabel Veronia Sellar were divorced in 1950.1 He married, secondly, Susan Mary Jocelyn Semple, daughter of Dr. John Mervyn Semple and Anne Gladys Steen, on 17 April 1952.1 He died on 10 February 1992 at age 84.4
