She was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)1 From 11 November 1936, her married name became FitzRoy Newdegate.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Warwickshire in 1949.1 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1957.1

Lt.-Gen. Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, 1st Baron Norrie was born on 26 September 1893.2 He was the son of George Edward Moke Norrie and Beatrice Stephen.3 He married, firstly, Jocelyn Helen Gosling, daughter of Richard Henry Gosling and Kathleen Maria Swinnerton Dyer, on 9 June 1922.2 He married, secondly, Patricia Merryweather Bainbridge, daughter of Emerson Muschamp Bainbridge and Norah Mossom Merryweather, on 28 November 1938.2 He died on 25 May 1977 at age 83.2
