Jocelyne FitzRoy Newdegate was born on 13 July 1929.² She was the daughter of Commander John Maurice FitzRoy Newdegate and Lucia Charlotte Susan Newdegate.¹ She married, firstly, Richard John Barton, son of Colonel John Seddon Barton, on 26 July 1952.¹ She married, secondly, Major Henry John Allfrey, son of Major Henry Sydney Allfrey, on 18 May 1957.² She and Major Henry John Allfrey were divorced in 1980.² She died on 30 June 2013 at age 83.³
     From 26 July 1952, her married name became Barton. Her marriage to Richard John Barton was annulled in 1953.¹ From 18 May 1957, her married name became Allfrey.² In 1988 she was granted the rank of a viscount’s daughter.¹

     Richard John Barton is the son of Colonel John Seddon Barton.¹ He married Hon. Jocelyne FitzRoy Newdegate, daughter of Commander John Maurice FitzRoy Newdegate and Lucia Charlotte Susan Newdegate, on 26 July 1952.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 16th/5th Lancers.¹ His marriage to Hon. Jocelyne FitzRoy Newdegate was annulled in 1953.¹

     Colonel John Seddon Barton held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He lived at Glan-y-Wern Hall, Denbighshire, Wales^G.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Marjory Beech was the daughter of Reverend Howard Beech.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Archibald Hugh Arbuthnot, son of Major Archibald Ernest Arbuthnot and Anne Elizabeth Ball, on 2 February 1920.¹ She died on 13 September 1975.¹
     From 2 February 1920, her married name became Arbuthnot.¹

     Major Henry Sydney Allfrey held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Bishops Acre, Upton Bishop, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, England^G.¹ He lived at How Caple, Herefordshire, England^G. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Major Henry David Allfrey was born on 27 February 1959.¹ He is the son of Major Henry John Allfrey and Hon. Jocelyne FitzRoy Newdegate.¹ He married Fiona Jean Hamilton Burgess, daughter of General Sir Edward Burgess, in 1985.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Major in the Scots Dragoon Guards.²

     Lucia Susan Allfrey was born on 2 June 1961.¹ She is the daughter of Major Henry John Allfrey and Hon. Jocelyne FitzRoy Newdegate.¹ She married Major David St. John Homer, son of G/Capt. Derek Homer, in 1988.¹
     From 1988, her married name became Homer.¹ She lived in 2003 at 3 New Cottages, Furzedown Lane, Amport, Hampshire, England^G.²

     Hon. Nancy Jean Fitzroy was born on 31 May 1894.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Rt. Hon. Edward Algernon FitzRoy and Muriel Douglas-Pennant, Viscountess Daventry.¹ She died in February 1984 at age 89, unmarried.¹
     She was Sergeant-Dispenser with the Voluntary Aid Detachment between 1916 and 1918.¹ She was awarded the British Empire Medal (B.E.M.)¹ She was Sergeant-Dispenser with the Voluntary Aid Detachment between 1939 and 1946.¹

     Hon. Frederica Louise FitzRoy was born in 1864. She was the daughter of Charles FitzRoy, 3rd Baron Southampton and Hon. Ismania Catherine Nugent.¹ She married Percy Edward Crutchley, son of General Charles Crutchley, on 12 February 1890.¹ She died on 9 April 1932.¹
     Her married name became Crutchley. She held the office of Maid of Honour to HM Queen Victoria.¹

     Percy Edward Crutchley was born on 24 July 1855.¹ He was the son of General Charles Crutchley.² He married Hon. Frederica Louise FitzRoy, daughter of Charles FitzRoy, 3rd Baron Southampton and Hon. Ismania Catherine Nugent, on 12 February 1890.³ He died on 16 October 1940 at age 85.¹
