     Douglas Colin Paul Coates was born on 2 September 1953.¹ He is the son of Robert Coates and Kathleen Ethel Mary Caffery.¹

     Anna Maria Seymour was born on 22 September 1781.² She was the daughter of Lord Robert Seymour and Anne Delmé.¹

     Edward Francis Coates was born on 5 September 1950.¹ He is the son of Robert Coates and Kathleen Ethel Mary Caffery.¹ He married Jo-Ann Shepherd in 1970.¹

     Hon. Sir Arthur Jared Palmer Howard was born on 30 May 1896.² He was the son of Robert Jared Bliss Howard and Margaret Charlotte Smith, Baroness Strathcona and Mount Royal.¹ He married Lady Leonora Stanley Baldwin, daughter of Stanley Baldwin, 1st Earl Baldwin of Bewdley and Lucy Ridsdale, on 20 June 1922.¹ He died on 26 April 1971 at age 74.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards.² He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.² He held the office of Mayor of Westminster between 1936 and 1937.² He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1937.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the County of London in 1937.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex in 1939.² He was Principal Air Raid Warden, London Civil Defence between 1939 and 1942.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Labour) for St. George’s, Westminster between 1945 and 1950.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1953.¹

     Robert Coates married Kathleen Ethel Mary Caffery, daughter of Frank Caffery and Margaret Edith Mary Walker, on 25 November 1949.¹

     Mary Eleanor Geraldine Lilla Jones married Herbert Davies-Evans, son of Delme Seymour Davies and Mary Ann Elizabeth Evans, on 15 September 1869. She died on 24 March 1926.
     Her married name became Davies-Evans.

     William Derbyshire married Margaret Edith Mary Walker, daughter of Reverend Reginald Edmund Walker and Lady Emily Mary Seymour, in 1941.¹

     Agnes Whitehead Archibald was born circa 1848 at Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Archibald.¹ She married Sir Andrew Henderson Leith Fraser, son of Dr. Alexander Garden Fraser and Joanna Maria Shaw, in 1872.¹ She died in 1879.¹
     From 1872, her married name became Fraser.¹

     Frank Caffery married Margaret Edith Mary Walker, daughter of Reverend Reginald Edmund Walker and Lady Emily Mary Seymour, on 21 February 1920.¹

     Mary Ann Elizabeth Evans married Delme Seymour Davies, son of William Griffith Davies and Elizabeth Seymour.
     Her married name became Davies.
