Maurice Berkeley Portman, son of Edward Berkley Portman, 1st Viscount Portman of Bryanston and Lady Emma Lascelles, on 3 October 1867 at Wimborne Minster, Dorset, England.1,2 She died on 27 January 1927 at age 83.3

     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Douglas, of Carr, co. Perth [G.B., 1777] in 1913.
