     Elizabeth Hamilton Buchanan was born on 21 February 1764 at Baldernock, Stirlingshire, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Buchanan, 10th of Spittal and Elizabeth Hamilton of Bardowie.¹ She was baptised on 29 February 1764 at Baldernock, Stirlingshire, Scotland.¹ She married Robert Cunninghame Graham, 6th of Gartmore, son of Nicol Graham, 4th of Gallingad and 5th of Gartmore and Margaret Cuninghame, after 17 October 1786 at Scotland.¹
     From after 17 October 1786, her married name became Cunninghame Graham.¹

     Alexander Spiers, 2nd of Culcreuch was born circa 1793.¹ He was the son of Peter Spiers, 1st of Culcreuch and Martha Harriett Cunninghame Graham.¹ He married Mary Buchanan Murray, daughter of Major William Murray, 9th of Touchadam and Polmaise and Anne Maxwell, in 1829.¹ He died in 1877.¹

     Mary Buchanan Murray is the daughter of Major William Murray, 9th of Touchadam and Polmaise and Anne Maxwell.¹ She married Alexander Spiers, 2nd of Culcreuch, son of Peter Spiers, 1st of Culcreuch and Martha Harriett Cunninghame Graham, in 1829.¹
     From 1829, her married name became Spiers.¹

     Major William Murray, 9th of Touchadam and Polmaise is the son of William Murray, 8th of Touchadam and of Pittlochrie and Polmaise. He married Anne Maxwell.¹

     Anne Maxwell married Major William Murray, 9th of Touchadam and Polmaise, son of William Murray, 8th of Touchadam and of Pittlochrie and Polmaise.¹
     Her married name became Murray.¹

     William Hope Markham was baptised on 31 January 1860 at Aberford, Yorkshire, England.² He was the son of Colonel William Thomas Markham and Ann Emily Sophia Grant.¹ He died on 25 May 1889 at age 29 at Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.²

     Claron Henry Markham was born in 1866.¹ He was the son of Colonel William Thomas Markham and Ann Emily Sophia Grant.¹ He died in 1868.¹

     Cyril Fulc Markham was born in 1866.¹ He was the son of Colonel William Thomas Markham and Ann Emily Sophia Grant.¹ He died in 1867.¹

     Rupert Evelyn Markham was born in 1868.¹ He was the son of Colonel William Thomas Markham and Ann Emily Sophia Grant.¹ He died in 1879.¹

     Ronald Antony Markham was born on 15 October 1870.² He was baptised on 24 November 1870 at Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England.² He was the son of Colonel William Thomas Markham and Ann Emily Sophia Grant.¹ He died on 25 October 1914 at age 43, from wounds received in action.^1,2 His will was proven (by probate) on 15 January 1915 at London, England.²
     He fought in the First World War.¹
