     Gardner Sebastian Bazley was born on 14 October 1863.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Sebastian Bazley, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Gardner.¹ He married Ruth Evelyn Howard, daughter of Sir Edward Stafford Howard and Lady Rachel Anne Georgina Campbell, on 5 January 1903.¹ He died on 22 June 1911 at age 47.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Gloucestershire.¹ He held the office of County Councillor for Gloucestershire.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1901.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment.¹ He lived at Hatherop Castle, Fairford, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Sir Thomas Sebastian Bazley, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 April 1829.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Bazley, 1st Bt. and Mary Maria Sarah Nash.¹ He married Elizabeth Gardner, daughter of Robert Gardner, on 1 November 1855.¹ He died on 5 January 1919 at age 89.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1874.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bazley, of Hatherop, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1869] on 18 March 1885.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Gloucestershire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.¹ He lived at Hatherop, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Gardner was the daughter of Robert Gardner.¹ She married Sir Thomas Sebastian Bazley, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Bazley, 1st Bt. and Mary Maria Sarah Nash, on 1 November 1855.¹ She died on 1 May 1890.¹
     Her married name became Bazley.

     Robert Gardner lived at Chaseley, Manchester, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Commander Francis Charles Cadogan was born on 1 January 1885.² He was the son of Captain Hon. Charles George Henry Cadogan and Henriette Wilhelmina Montgomery.² He married Ruth Evelyn Howard, daughter of Sir Edward Stafford Howard and Lady Rachel Anne Georgina Campbell, on 2 September 1913.¹ He died on 15 March 1970 at age 85.²
     He was educated at H.M.S. Britannia, England^G.² He fought in the Boer War.² He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the First World War, with the Anzac Landing, Dover Patrol, and Black and Caspian Seas.² He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)² He was appointed Fellow, Zoological Society (F.Z.S.)²

     Henriette Wilhelmina Montgomery was the daughter of Henry Montgomery.² She married, firstly, Captain Hon. Charles George Henry Cadogan, son of Henry Charles Cadogan, 4th Earl Cadogan and Mary Sarah Wellesley, on 20 June 1874.¹ She married, secondly, Henry Hinton on 25 November 1903.¹ She died on 24 September 1913.
     From 20 June 1874, her married name became Cadogan. Her married name became Hinton.

     Henry Montgomery lived at Göteborg, Sweden^G.

     Henry Hinton was born circa 1857.¹ He married Henriette Wilhelmina Montgomery, daughter of Henry Montgomery, on 25 November 1903.¹ He died on 16 April 1948.¹
     He lived at Funchal, Madeira, Portugal^G.¹

     Marjorie Aline Buske is the daughter of Herbert Buske.² She married Jack Mervyn Walker, son of Rupert Alexander Seymour Walker and Edith May Sutherland, on 29 June 1968.¹
     From 29 June 1968, her married name became Walker.

     Stafford Vaughan Stepney Howard was born on 3 September 1915 at Llanelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales.^2,3 He was the son of Sir Edward Stafford Howard and Catherine Meriel Stepney.² He married, firstly, Ursula Priscilla Marie Gabrielle Horlick, daughter of Colonel Sir James Nockells Horlick, 4th Bt. and Flora Macdonald Martin, on 15 July 1936.² He and Ursula Priscilla Marie Gabrielle Horlick were divorced in 1940.² He married, secondly, Mary Gracia Neville, daughter of George Wilder Neville, on 24 October 1940.² He died on 6 October 1991 at age 76 at Penrith, Cumberland, England.³
     On 9 March 1922 his name was legally changed to Stafford Vaughan Stepney Howard-Stepney by Royal Licence.² He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He fought in the Second World War, in North Africa, Italy and Burma, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.² On 12 August 1950 his name was legally changed to Stafford Vaughan Stepney Howard by Deed Poll.² He held the office of Member of the Cumberland County Council in 1966.²
