     Captain Francis Philip Howard, 2nd Baron Howard of Penrith was born on 5 October 1905.¹ He was the son of Esme William Howard, 1st Baron Howard of Penrith and Lady Isabella Giovanna Teresa Gioachina Giustiniani-Bandini.¹ He married Anne Hotham, daughter of John Beaumont Hotham and Gladys Mary Wilson, on 1 July 1944.² He died on 13 November 1999 at age 94.²
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1932 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Howard of Penrith, of Gowbarrow, co. Cumberland [U.K., 1930] on 1 August 1939.²

     Anne Hotham was born on 27 September 1913.³ She was the daughter of John Beaumont Hotham and Gladys Mary Wilson.^3,1 She married, firstly, Anthony Gardner Bazley, son of Gardner Sebastian Bazley and Ruth Evelyn Howard, on 9 February 1934.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Francis Philip Howard, 2nd Baron Howard of Penrith, son of Esme William Howard, 1st Baron Howard of Penrith and Lady Isabella Giovanna Teresa Gioachina Giustiniani-Bandini, on 1 July 1944.¹ She died on 25 January 2008 at age 94.⁴
     From 9 February 1934, her married name became Bazley.¹ After her marriage, Anne Hotham was styled as Baroness Howard of Penrith on 1 July 1944. From 1 July 1944, her married name became Howard.

     Anthony Gardner Bazley was born on 4 June 1911.¹ He was the son of Gardner Sebastian Bazley and Ruth Evelyn Howard.¹ He married Anne Hotham, daughter of John Beaumont Hotham and Gladys Mary Wilson, on 9 February 1934.¹ He died on 23 May 1937 at age 25.¹
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment.¹ He held the office of County Councillor for Gloucestershire.¹

     Gladys Mary Wilson was born circa 1881.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel John Gerald Wilson and Angelina Rose Geraldine O’Brien.¹ She married John Beaumont Hotham, son of Admiral Sir Charles Frederick Hotham and Margaret Milne-Home, on 15 August 1905.¹ She died on 12 February 1972.¹
     Her married name became Hotham.

     Colonel John Gerald Wilson married Angelina Rose Geraldine O’Brien, daughter of Rev. Hon. Henry O’Brien and Henrietta Godley, on 4 June 1873.² He died on 8 March 1902, killed in action.²
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)³ He lived at Cliffe Hall, Yorkshire, England^G.³ He gained the rank of Boer War.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)²

     Philip Esme Howard, 3rd Baron Howard of Penrith was born on 1 May 1945.¹ He is the son of Captain Francis Philip Howard, 2nd Baron Howard of Penrith and Anne Hotham.¹ He married Sarah Sophia Walker, daughter of Barclay Walker, in 1969.¹
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was managing director of Lehman Brothers between 1984 and 1997.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Howard of Penrith, of Gowbarrow, co. Cumberland [U.K., 1930] on 13 November 1999.¹ He lived in 2003 at 45 Erpingham Road, London, England.¹

     Hon. Michael Edmund Howard was born on 19 April 1947.¹ He was the son of Captain Francis Philip Howard, 2nd Baron Howard of Penrith and Anne Hotham.¹ He married Heather Kenmure on 8 March 2007 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.² He died on 1 April 2007 at age 59, from cancer.²
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. David Francis Howard was born on 29 May 1949.¹ He is the son of Captain Francis Philip Howard, 2nd Baron Howard of Penrith and Anne Hotham.¹ He married Diana Radway, daughter of John S. Radway, in 1981.¹
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. William John Howard was born on 30 May 1953.¹ He is the son of Captain Francis Philip Howard, 2nd Baron Howard of Penrith and Anne Hotham.¹ He married Alexandra Josephine Graham, daughter of Maurice Graham, in 1981.¹
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Hubert John Edward Dominic Howard was born on 23 December 1907.¹ He was the son of Esme William Howard, 1st Baron Howard of Penrith and Lady Isabella Giovanna Teresa Gioachina Giustiniani-Bandini.¹ He married Donna Lelia Calista Ada Caetani, daughter of Roffredo Caetani, 17th Duca di Sermoneta, on 17 September 1951.¹ He died on 17 February 1987 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹
