     Sir Walter Forrester, 7th of Torwood, 2nd of Garden was born circa 1470.2 He was the son of Sir Duncan Forrester, 6th of Torwood, 1st of Garden and Margaret Forsyth.2 He married Agnes Graham, daughter of William Graham, 2nd Lord Graham and Elene Douglas.2

     Margaret Forrester is the daughter of Sir Walter Forrester, 7th of Torwood, 2nd of Garden and Agnes Graham.2,3 She married Sir John Stirling, 3rd of Keir, son of Sir William Stirling, 2nd of Keir and Mariotta Fleming, in 1513.1
     From 1513, her married name became Stirling.

     Sir James Stirling, 4th of Keir and 1st of Cawder was the son of Sir John Stirling, 3rd of Keir and Margaret Forrester.2 He married, firstly, Janet Stirling, daughter of Andrew Stirling, 12th of Cadder, in 1534, under duress.1,3 He and Janet Stirling were divorced. He married, secondly, Jean Chisholm, daughter of Reverend William Chisholm, in 1542.1 He died in 1588.1
     His wife brought the estate of Cadder to him.2 He had one other son and two daughters.1

     Janet Stirling is the daughter of Andrew Stirling, 12th of Cadder.2 She married Sir James Stirling, 4th of Keir and 1st of Cawder, son of Sir John Stirling, 3rd of Keir and Margaret Forrester, in 1534, under duress.1,3 She and Sir James Stirling, 4th of Keir and 1st of Cawder were divorced.
     From 1534, her married name became Stirling.

     Elizabeth Pratt was the daughter of Jonah Pratt.1 She married Hickman Rose, son of George Rose and Jane Hickman, on 15 June 1738 at Youghal, County Cork, Ireland.1 She died in July 1766.1
