Elizabeth Ward1,2 
Elizabeth Ward was born circa 1755 at London, England.2 She was the daughter of Joseph Ward and Ruth Carver.2 She married Very Rev. Charles Peter Layard, son of Daniel Peter Layard and Susanne Henriette de Boisragon, on 1 December 1777 at Greenwich, Kent, England.1,4 She died circa 4 December 1796.1 She was buried on 7 December 1796.1

He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1795 in the 7th (Royal Fusiliers) Foot.1 He was educated at St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector between 1803 and 1861 at Uffington, Lincolnshire, England.1 He graduated from Lambeth Palace, Lambeth, London, EnglandG, in 1810 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Vicar between 1820 and 1861 at Tallington, Lincolnshire, England.1 He was Aide-de-Camp and Chaplain to HRH The Duke of Kent.1
