Brownlow Bertie, 5th Duke of Ancaster and Kesteven1 
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire between 1761 and 1779.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire on 12 February 1779.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) on 12 February 1779.1 He succeeded as the 22nd Lord Willoughby de Eresby [E., 1313] on 8 July 1779. He succeeded as the 5th Marquess of Lindsey [G.B., 1706] on 8 July 1779.1 He succeeded as the 5th Duke of Ancaster and Kesteven [G.B., 1715] on 8 July 1779.1 He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Lindsey, co. Lincoln [E., 1626] on 8 July 1779.2 He held the office of Hereditary Lord Great Chamberlain between 8 July 1779 and 1809.1
On his death, the Dukedom of Ancaster and the Marquessate of Lindsay became extinct but the Earldom of Lindsay reverted to his kinsman, Albemarle Bertie, who became the 9th Earl of Lindsay.1

Mary Anne Layard was born on 5 March 1733.1,3 She was the daughter of Major Peter Layard and Marie Anne Crozé.1 She married Brownlow Bertie, 5th Duke of Ancaster and Kesteven, son of Peregrine Bertie, 2nd Duke of Ancaster and Kesteven and Jane Brownlow, on 2 January 1769 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 13 January 1804 at age 70 at Saville Row, St. James’s, London, EnglandG.1
From 2 January 1769, her married name became Bertie. After her marriage, Mary Anne Layard was styled as Duchess of Ancaster and Kesteven on 2 January 1769.

William Charles Colyear, 3rd Earl of Portmore

William Charles Colyear, 3rd Earl of Portmore was born circa 1747. He was the son of Charles Colyear, 2nd Earl of Portmore and Juliana Hele.2 He married Lady Mary Leslie, daughter of John Leslie, 10th Earl of Rothes and Hannah Howard, on 5 November 1770 at Weybridge, Surrey, England.3 He died on 15 November 1823.4
He gained the title of 3rd Earl of Portmore.
