Major Sir Thomas Calderwood Dundas of Arniston, 7th Bt.1 
He was educated at Loretto School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 He fought in the Second World War, in North-West Europe, and was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Scots Guards.3 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for East Sussex in 1954.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Sussex in 1959.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Dundas, of Arniston, co. Midlothian [U.K., 1898] on 18 June 1967.2 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.2
