David George van Lennep was born on 5 August 1712 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands.3 He married Anna Maria Leytstar, daughter of Johan Justinus Leytstar and Johanna Maria de la Fontaine, on 11 April 1758 at Smyrna, Turkey.3 He died on 13 April 1777 at age 64 at Izmir, Turkey.3
He was chief of the Dutch Factory at Smyrna, TurkeyG.1
