     Fiona Mary Goring was born in 1972.¹ She is the daughter of George Barry Goring and Nicola Jean Gordon.¹

     Herbert Goring was born on 20 August 1880.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Goring and Isabella Mary Thomas.¹ He married Marjorie Beatrice Smith, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Archibald Smith, on 27 July 1905.¹ He died on 14 May 1952 at age 71.¹
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Hussars.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹

     Marjorie Beatrice Smith was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Archibald Smith.¹ She married Herbert Goring, son of Reverend John Goring and Isabella Mary Thomas, on 27 July 1905.¹ She died on 22 August 1959.¹
     From 27 July 1905, her married name became Goring.¹

     Rt. Hon. Sir Archibald Smith was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹ He held the office of Master of the Rolls.¹

     Francis Goring was born on 2 April 1884.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Goring and Isabella Mary Thomas.¹ He died on 28 October 1953 at age 69, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the First World War, in Egypt, Gallipoli and Flanders.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Sussex Regiment.¹

     Elisabeth Goring was born on 21 December 1863.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend John Goring and Isabella Mary Thomas.¹ She married Captain George Frederick Glennie on 13 August 1921.¹ She died on 4 July 1954 at age 90, without issue.¹
     From 13 August 1921, her married name became Glennie.¹

     Captain George Frederick Glennie married Elisabeth Goring, daughter of Reverend John Goring and Isabella Mary Thomas, on 13 August 1921.¹ He died on 25 April 1939.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Hon. Mary Preston was the daughter of Jenico Preston, 7th Viscount Gormanston and Hon. Margaret Molyneux.¹ She married Anthony Preston, son of Nicholas Preston and Elizabeth Preston, in 1700.¹ She died on 27 December 1750.²

     Anthony Preston was born in 1736.¹ He was the son of Jenico Preston and Thomasine Barnewall.¹ He married Henrietta Robinson, daughter of Lt.-Gen. John Robinson, on 25 October 1774.¹ He died on 8 December 1786.¹
     He succeeded as the 14th Lord Preston of Gormanston [I., 1370] on 31 October 1757, de jure.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Viscount Gormanston [I., 1478] on 31 October 1757, de jure.¹

     Jenico Preston was born in 1707.¹ He was the son of Anthony Preston and Hon. Mary Preston.¹ He married Thomasine Barnewall, daughter of John Barnewall and Mary Barnewall, on 9 February 1729/30.¹ He died on 31 October 1757.¹
     He succeeded as the 13th Lord Preston of Gormanston [I., 1370] on 25 September 1716, de jure.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Viscount Gormanston [I., 1478] on 25 September 1716, de jure.¹
