Æneas Ranald Macdonell, 19th of Glengarry and 6th of Scotus1 
He was educated at Marischal College, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.3 In 1803 Scotus was sold by his trustees to Grant of Glenmoriston, from whom it was purchased by 15th Chief of Glengarry.3 He was 1st member of the Review Board, Madras Civil Service.3 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Macdonell [Scotland, 1716] on 28 June 1868, Jacobite.3
