     Emily Constance Friend was born in 1847 at Cambridge Square, London, England.² She was the daughter of John Banks Friend and Ellen Pigeon.^3,2 She married Harold Esdaile Wyndham Malet, son of Reverend William Wyndham Malet and Eliza Drake Esdaile, on 1 September 1868.¹ She died on 2 November 1920.¹
     From 1 September 1868, her married name became Malet.

     Major Harold Wyndham Malet was born on 7 July 1882.¹ He was the son of Harold Esdaile Wyndham Malet and Emily Constance Friend.² He married Bertha Emily Pearson, daughter of William Philip Pearson, on 18 January 1908.¹ He died on 15 April 1937 at age 54.¹
     He gained the rank of Brigade-Major between 1916 and 1918 in the 18th Hussars.¹

     Bertha Emily Pearson was the daughter of William Philip Pearson.² She married Major Harold Wyndham Malet, son of Harold Esdaile Wyndham Malet and Emily Constance Friend, on 18 January 1908.¹ She died on 6 December 1937.¹
     From 18 January 1908, her married name became Malet.

     John Wyndham Malet was born on 12 October 1910.¹ He was the son of Major Harold Wyndham Malet and Bertha Emily Pearson.² He married June Rosalind Harrison-Broadley, daughter of Captain John Broadley Harrison-Broadley and Rosalind Colina Emma Stratford Dugdale, on 8 July 1937.¹ He died on 27 May 1940 at age 29, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Hussars.¹

     June Rosalind Harrison-Broadley is the daughter of Captain John Broadley Harrison-Broadley and Rosalind Colina Emma Stratford Dugdale.¹ She married, firstly, John Wyndham Malet, son of Major Harold Wyndham Malet and Bertha Emily Pearson, on 8 July 1937.¹ She married, secondly, Wladyslaw Galica, son of General Andre Galica, in 1943.¹
     From 8 July 1937, her married name became Malet. From 1943, her married name became Galica.¹

     Lt.-Col. Greville John Wyndham Malet was born on 6 December 1939.¹ He was the son of John Wyndham Malet and June Rosalind Harrison-Broadley.² He married, firstly, Hon. Margaret Cherry Wigram, daughter of George Neville Clive Wigram, 2nd Baron Wigram and Margaret Helen Thorne, on 22 January 1972.¹ He and Hon. Margaret Cherry Wigram were divorced in 1993.¹ He married, secondly, Hon. Lavinia Valerie Woodhouse, daughter of James Allen David Woodhouse, 4th Baron Terrington and Suzanne Irwin, on 30 March 2004.³ He died in September 2004 at age 64.³
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Hussars.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Hussars.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Weald House, Hatherop, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Caroline Maria Hartley was born in 1839 at Kennington, Surrey, England.¹ She married, firstly, Leonard Wilkinson in 1869.¹ She married, secondly, Percival Robert Southwell Preeston, son of Henry Augustus Preeston and Martha Blanche Southwell, in 1872 at Westminster, London, England.¹
     From 1869, her married name became Wilkinson.¹ From 1872, her married name became Preeston.¹

     Charles Neville Wyndham Malet was born on 24 September 1976.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Greville John Wyndham Malet and Hon. Margaret Cherry Wigram.² He married Rosemary V. C. Nightingale, daughter of Peter Ray Nightingale and Rosalind Clarence Buxton, on 6 July 2013 at Sevenhampton, Gloucestershire, England.³
