     Frances Eva Marjorie Macpherson was the daughter of Albert Cameron MacPherson of Cluny Macpherson, 17th Chief and Frances Eliza Raynsford Addington.2 She married, firstly, Donald Ninian Nicol, son of Donald Ninian Nicol of Ardmarnoch and Anne Millicent Bates, on 8 July 1908.1 She married, secondly, John MacLachlan, 23rd of Maclachlan, son of George Maclachlan, 21st of Maclachlan and Mary Thow, on 26 February 1919.1 She died on 23 July 1949.1
     From 8 July 1908, her married name became Nicol. From 26 February 1919, her married name became MacLachlan.1
