     Lachlan Macpherson was born in 1714.² He is the son of Lachlan Macpherson, of Cluny Macpherson and Nuide, 11th Chief and Jean Cameron.³ He married Catharine Campbell, daughter of Duncan Campbell, 3rd of Auchlyne and Louisa Campbell, on 28 February 1758.² He died in 1777.²
     He was ancestor of the Macphersons of Dalchully.¹

     Andrew Macpherson is the son of Lachlan Macpherson, of Cluny Macpherson and Nuide, 11th Chief and Jean Cameron.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Highlanders.¹

     Donald Macpherson was the son of Lachlan Macpherson, of Cluny Macpherson and Nuide, 11th Chief and Jean Cameron.² He died, unmarried.¹

     Reginar IV, Comte de Hainault was the son of Reginar III, Duc de Haute-Lorraine and Adèle de Toxandrie.¹ He married Hathuide Capet, daughter of Hugues de Paris, Roi des Francs, circa 997.¹ He died in 1013.¹
     He gained the title of Comte de Hainault.¹

     Claude Edward New was born in 1877 at Kensington, London, England.² He was the son of Edward Vorley New and Clara Weller.^1,2 He married Anne Edwardes, daughter of Reverend George Edwardes and Ethel Mary Lassetter, on 15 January 1930.¹ He died on 6 January 1968.¹
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Lt.-Col. Duncan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 13th Chief was born in 1748. He was the son of Ewan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 12th Chief and Janet Fraser.² He married, secondly, Catherine Cameron, daughter of Sir Ewen Cameron of Fassiefern, 1st Bt. and Louisa Campbell, on 12 June 1798.¹ He died on 1 August 1817.¹
     He fought in the American War of Independence, with the 71st Fraser Highlanders.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 3rd Scots Fusiliers Guards.¹ He recovered his ancestral lands, largely at the intercession and through the generosity of his kinsman James Macpherson of Belleville, to whom they had been offered by the Government.¹ He was known as ‘Duncan of the Kiln’ from the corn kiln on his father’s estates in which he was born after Cluny Castle had been destroyed by the Duke of Cumberland.¹

     Margaret Macpherson is the daughter of Ewan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 12th Chief and Janet Fraser.² She married Colonel Duncan Macpherson of Breakachy.¹

     Colonel Duncan Macpherson of Breakachy married Margaret Macpherson, daughter of Ewan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 12th Chief and Janet Fraser.¹

     Catherine Cameron was the daughter of Sir Ewen Cameron of Fassiefern, 1st Bt. and Louisa Campbell.² She married Lt.-Col. Duncan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 13th Chief, son of Ewan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 12th Chief and Janet Fraser, on 12 June 1798.¹ She died on 20 January 1855.¹
     From 12 June 1798, her married name became Macpherson.

     Margaret Jane Augusta Cork was born in 1839 at Plymouth, Devon, England^G.¹ She married Thomas Bulteel, son of Thomas Hillersden Bulteel and Caroline Louisa Harris, in 1859 at Plympton, Devon, England^G.¹
     From 1859, her married name became Bulteel.¹
