     Ewan George Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 18th Chief was born on 15 July 1891 at Lasswade, Midlothian, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of George Gordon Macpherson and Barbara Kerr.3 He married, firstly, Rhoda Scrutton, daughter of Charles Joseph Scrutton, on 11 July 1933.1 He and Rhoda Scrutton were divorced in 1940.1 He married, secondly, Helen Zoë Draper, daughter of George Draper, on 4 November 1942.1 He died on 12 December 1986 at age 95.2
     He was educated at Rossall School, Fleetwood, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Scots Greys.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)2 He held the position of 18th, by tanistry Chief of the Clan Macpherson from in 1932.1 He fought in the Second World War, with Royal Air Force.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 6 September 1948.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 14 February 1957.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 20 July 1965.1
