     John Douglas Pinsent was born in 1872 at Newton Abbot, Devon, England.¹ He was the son of William Swain Pinsent and Harriet Eliza Cookson.¹

     Bertha Maria Marsh was the daughter of Matthew Henry Marsh and Elizabeth Mary Merewether.^2,3 She married George Gordon Macpherson, son of Colonel Ewan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 14th Chief and Sarah Justina Davidson, on 23 February 1869.¹ She died on 31 August 1888.¹
     From 23 February 1869, her married name became Macpherson.

     Georgiana Justina Elizabeth Lucy Macpherson was the daughter of George Gordon Macpherson and Bertha Maria Marsh.² She married Sir George Miller-Cunninhgam of Leithenhopes on 21 April 1897.¹ She died in 1936.¹
     From 21 April 1897, her married name became Miller-Cunninhgam.

     Sir George Miller-Cunninhgam of Leithenhopes married Georgiana Justina Elizabeth Lucy Macpherson, daughter of George Gordon Macpherson and Bertha Maria Marsh, on 21 April 1897.¹ He died in 1945.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹

     Barbara Kerr married George Gordon Macpherson, son of Colonel Ewan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 14th Chief and Sarah Justina Davidson, on 1 May 1889.¹
     From 1 May 1889, her married name became Macpherson.

     Gordon Duncan Macpherson was born on 8 January 1890.¹ He was the son of George Gordon Macpherson and Barbara Kerr.² He died on 23 August 1897 at age 7.¹

     Ewan George Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 18th Chief was born on 15 July 1891 at Lasswade, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,2 He was the son of George Gordon Macpherson and Barbara Kerr.³ He married, firstly, Rhoda Scrutton, daughter of Charles Joseph Scrutton, on 11 July 1933.¹ He and Rhoda Scrutton were divorced in 1940.¹ He married, secondly, Helen Zoë Draper, daughter of George Draper, on 4 November 1942.¹ He died on 12 December 1986 at age 95.²
     He was educated at Rossall School, Fleetwood, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Scots Greys.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)² He held the position of 18th, by tanistry Chief of the Clan Macpherson from in 1932.¹ He fought in the Second World War, with Royal Air Force.¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 6 September 1948.¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 14 February 1957.¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 20 July 1965.¹

     Frederick Thomas Bulteel was born on 18 May 1880 at Plymstock, Devon, England^G.¹ He was the son of Thomas Bulteel and Margaret Jane Augusta Cork.¹ He died in 1918.¹

     Wilfrid Samuel Bede Blake-James was born on 14 November 2007.¹ He is the son of Richard Blake-James and Bridget Joanna Orr-Ewing.²

     Colonel Henry Thornhill married Rose Parke, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Henry William Parke and Katherine Vidler.¹ He died before 1889.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹
