     Katherine Rose was born circa 1581.1 She was the daughter of William Rose, 11th of Kilravock and Lilias Hay.2 She married, secondly, Simon Fraser, 6th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat, son of Hugh Fraser, 5th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Lady Elizabeth Stewart.1 She married by contract, firstly, James Grant of Ardnellie and Logie, son of Duncan Grant of Freuchie, younger and Margaret Mackintosh, on 8 June 1602.1 She died on 19 September 1658.1
     Her married name became Fraser.1 From 8 June 1602, her married name became Grant.

     Marie Rose was the daughter of William Rose, 11th of Kilravock and Lilias Hay.2 A contract for the marriage of Marie Rose and David Hay of Lochloy was signed in September 1605.1 She died on 2 February 1672.1
     From September 1605, her married name became Hay.

     Hugh Rose, 13th of Kilravock was the son of Hugh Rose, 12th of Kilravock and Magdalene Fraser.2 He married Margaret Mowat, daughter of Magnus Mowat, 3rd of Balquholly.1 He died in March 1649.1
     On 17 January 1644 he was infeft.1 He held the office of Sheriff-Principal of Inverness in 1647.1 He gained the rank of Colonel of Dragoons in 1648 in the Royalist Army.1
