     Alice Amelia Ackers married Thomas Henderson Babington, son of Reverend Richard Babington and Mary Boyle, in 1840.¹ She died in April 1894.¹
     From 1840, her married name became Babington.¹

     Reverend William Babington was born in 1713 at Londonderry, County Londonderry, Ireland.¹ He was the son of Richard Babington and Isabella Wray.¹ He married Dorothea Campbell.¹ He died on 25 March 1777.¹
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He was Rector in 1765 at Errigal, County Donegal, Ireland.²

     Dorothea Campbell was born in 1729.¹ She married Reverend William Babington, son of Richard Babington and Isabella Wray.¹ She died in 1790.¹
     Her married name became Babington.¹

     Reverend William Babington was born in 1746.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Babington and Dorothea Campbell.¹ He married Janet Maitland on 16 May 1773.¹ He died on 4 April 1818.¹
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹

     Janet Maitland was born on 16 June 1748 at Penpont, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.¹ She married Reverend William Babington, son of Reverend William Babington and Dorothea Campbell, on 16 May 1773.¹ She died on 1 May 1814 at age 65.¹
     From 16 May 1773, her married name became Babington.¹

     John Babington was born in 1785 at Dumfries-shire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Babington and Janet Maitland.¹ He married Jane (?)¹ He married Eliza Roebuck on 1 December 1808.¹ He died on 22 June 1848.¹

     Margaret Babington was born on 4 October 1767 at Londonderry, County Londonderry, Ireland.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend William Babington and Dorothea Campbell.¹ She married William Patton in 1787.¹ She died on 7 March 1845 at age 77.¹
     From 1787, her married name became Patton.¹

     Mary Heron Gordon was born in 1767.¹ She was the daughter of Gilbert Gordon and Margaret Stewart.¹ She married Murray Babington, son of Reverend William Babington and Dorothea Campbell, on 2 June 1788.¹
     From 2 June 1788, her married name became Babington.¹

     Philippe Anthoine David le Roux was born in 1951. He married Amanda Rudd, daughter of Riley Antony Winton Rudd and Ethne FitzGerald, in 1988.¹
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1990.¹
