     Major Colin Mackenzie, 4th of Mount Gerald was the son of Colin Mackenzie, 3rd of Mount Gerald and Elizabeth Mackenzie.1 He married Emilia Fraser, daughter of Colonel James Fraser of Belladrum and Hannah Baillie, in 1795.1 He died in 1824.1

     Emilia Fraser was born in 1771.1 She was the daughter of Colonel James Fraser of Belladrum and Hannah Baillie.1 She married Major Colin Mackenzie, 4th of Mount Gerald, son of Colin Mackenzie, 3rd of Mount Gerald and Elizabeth Mackenzie, in 1795.1 She died in 1828.1
     From 1795, her married name became Mackenzie.1

     Colonel James Fraser of Belladrum was born in 1732.1 He was the son of James Fraser, 6th of Belladrum and Isobel Fraser of Fairfield.1 He married Hannah Baillie, daughter of Hugh Baillie, 3rd of Dochfour and Emilia Fraser.1 He died on 26 May 1808.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1759 in the 87th Regiment of Highland Volunteers.1 He gained the rank of Captain-Lieutenant on 8 October 1759.1 He gained the rank of Captain on 20 December 1760.1 He fought in the Seven Years War.1 He gained the rank of Major on 29 August 1777.1 He gained the rank of Major on 8 January 1779 in the Northern Regiment of Fencible Men.1 He gained the rank of Major on 8 April 1779 in the 2nd/71st Foot (Fraser’s Highlanders.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1797 in the Fraser Fencibles.1
