     Margaret Sylvia Lewthwaite was born on 23 August 1937.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Rainald Gilfrid Lewthwaite, 4th Bt. and Margaret Elizabeth Edmonds.² She died on 22 October 1994 at age 57.¹

     Mary Rose Lewthwaite was born on 19 July 1946.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Rainald Gilfrid Lewthwaite, 4th Bt. and Margaret Elizabeth Edmonds.² She died on 11 February 1949 at age 2.¹

     Gilfrid MacIver Lewthwaite was born on 15 April 1922.¹ He was the son of Sir William Lewthwaite, 2nd Bt. and Beryl Mary Stopford Hickman.² He died on 22 July 1943 at age 21, killed on active service.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Sir Ian Francis Ley, 5th Bt. was born on 12 June 1934.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Douglas Ley, 4th Bt. and Violet Geraldine Johnson.² He married Caroline Margaret Errington, daughter of Major George Henry Errington and Margaret Kathleen Bushman, on 29 July 1957.¹ He died on 29 July 2017 at age 83.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 10th Royal Hussars.¹ He was deputy chairman of Ley’s Foundries and Engineering plc between 1972 and 1980.¹ He was chairman of Ley’s Foundries and Engineering plc between 1981 and 1982.¹ He held the office of High Sherrif of Derbyshire in 1985.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Ley, of Epperstone Manor, Epperstone, co. Nottingham [U.K., 1905] in May 1995.¹ He lived in 2003 at Fauld Hall, Tutbury, Staffordshire, England^G.¹

     Major George Henry Errington was born in 1908.² He married Margaret Kathleen Bushman, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Augustus Bushman. He married Lettice Mary Stafford-King-Harman, daughter of Captain Edward Charles Stafford-King-Harman and Olive Pakenham Mahon, in 1975.² He died in 1989.²
     He lived at Monkton Ranch, Figtree, Zimbabwe.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He lived at Chadwell Hall, Essex, England.³

     Caroline Margaret Errington is the daughter of Major George Henry Errington and Margaret Kathleen Bushman.² She married Sir Ian Francis Ley, 5th Bt., son of Sir Francis Douglas Ley, 4th Bt. and Violet Geraldine Johnson, on 29 July 1957.¹
     From 29 July 1957, her married name became Ley.

     Sir Christopher Ian Ley, 6th Bt. was born on 2 December 1962.¹ He is the son of Sir Ian Francis Ley, 5th Bt. and Caroline Margaret Errington.² He married Henrietta Nicholls, daughter of David Nicholls, in 1999.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Ley, of Epperstone Manor, Epperstone, co. Nottingham [U.K., 1905] on 29 July 2017.³

     Henrietta Nicholls is the daughter of David Nicholls.² She married Sir Christopher Ian Ley, 6th Bt., son of Sir Ian Francis Ley, 5th Bt. and Caroline Margaret Errington, in 1999.¹
     From 1999, her married name became Ley.
