Mary Bruce.² He married Cynthia Evelyn Turnor, daughter of Lt.-Col. Algernon Corbet Turnor, on 26 July 1949.¹ He died on 10 April 1982 at age 67 at Basingstoke, Hampshire, England.^1,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, and was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was admitted to Gentlemen-at-Arms.² He fought in the East Africa Campaign between 1955 and 1956, and was mentioned in despatches.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1956.¹

     Gyula Julius Maria Anton Joseph Graf Szapáry was born in 1901.¹ He married Adele Gräfin Hadik von Futak.¹ He died in 1985.¹

     Cynthia Evelyn Turnor is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Algernon Corbet Turnor.² She married Lt.-Col. Hugh Alexander Hope, son of Lt.-Col. Sir John Augustus Hope of Craighall, 16th Bt. and Hon. Mary Bruce, on 26 July 1949.¹
     From 26 July 1949, her married name became Hope. She lived in 2003 at 7 High Street, Sherston, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Margaret Maxwell-Lyte was born on 27 March 1874.² She was the daughter of Sir Henry Churchill Maxwell-Lyte and Frances Fownes Somerville.¹ She was baptised on 28 April 1874 at Lower Brixham, Devon, England.¹

     Surgn.-Maj. Morris Jones lived at Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire, Wales.¹

     Walter Maxwell-Lyte was born on 4 March 1877.² He was the son of Sir Henry Churchill Maxwell-Lyte and Frances Fownes Somerville.¹ He was baptised on 2 April 1877 at St. Peter’s, Eaton Square, London, England.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹

     Oliver Hugh Hope was born in 1989.¹ He is the son of Andrew Hugh Hope and Rosanna Jane Hope Johnstone.²

     Edith Florence Mary Smyth-Pigott was born in 1864.² She married Lt.-Col. Walter George Raleigh Chichester-Constable, son of Lt.-Col. Charles Raleigh Chichester and Mary Josephine Balfe.¹ She died in 1937.²
     Her married name became Chichester-Constable.¹

     Katharine Anne Hope was born on 10 October 1916.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir John Augustus Hope of Craighall, 16th Bt. and Hon. Mary Bruce.² She married, firstly, F/Lt. Carl Raymond Davis, son of Carl Raymond Davis and Clara May Wood, on 29 April 1939.¹ She married, secondly, Major Eric George Ewart Rayner on 14 May 1945.¹ She died on 29 October 1997 at age 81.¹
     From 29 April 1939, her married name became Davis. From 14 May 1945, her married name became Rayner.¹

     Carl Raymond Davis was born on 12 January 1874.² He married, firstly, Clara May Wood, daughter of Charles Wood, in 1899.² He married, secondly, Margaret Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of C. J. Stewart, after 1921.² He married, thirdly, Dorothy Muir Johnston, daughter of Robert Deans Johnston, between 1944 and 1956.³ He died on 16 January 1956 at age 82 at Villa Berg, Claremont, Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.²
     He was educated at Michigan College of Mines, Michigan, U.S.A.² He was manager of the Lancaster and Lancaster West mines between 1905 and 1911 at South Africa.² He was general manager of the Brakpan mine between 1911 and 1918.² He was consulting engineer for Anglo-American Corporation of South Africa between 1918 and 1928.² He was technical director of Anglo-American Corporation in 1928.²
