     Joyce Mary Hedley is the daughter of Dr. Edward Hedley.¹ She married, firstly, Thomas Cecil Barber, son of Sir Thomas Philip Barber, 1st Bt. and Beatrice Mary Merritt, in 1928.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel John Sidney North FitzGerald, son of Francis John FitzGerald and Hon. Mina Susan Georgina North, on 18 September 1933.¹ She and Colonel John Sidney North FitzGerald were divorced in 1948.¹ She married, thirdly, Lt.-Col. Arthur Frederick Reginald Wiggins on 20 May 1948.¹
     Eastwood.² She lived Lamb Close.² Notts.² From 1928, her married name became Barber.¹ From 18 September 1933, her married name became FitzGerald.¹ From 20 May 1948, her married name became Wiggins.¹

     Dr. Edward Hedley was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ He lived at The Cottage, Thursley, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Colonel John Sidney North FitzGerald was born on 8 October 1893.² He was the son of Francis John FitzGerald and Hon. Mina Susan Georgina North.^1,2 He married Joyce Mary Hedley, daughter of Dr. Edward Hedley, on 18 September 1933.¹ He and Joyce Mary Hedley were divorced in 1948.¹ He died on 11 May 1976 at age 82 at Whitehanger Nursing Home, Haslemere, Surrey, England.^1,3

     Francis John FitzGerald was born on 4 July 1864.¹ He was the son of Nicholas FitzGerald and Marianne O’Shanassy.² He married Hon. Mina Susan Georgina North, daughter of William Henry John North, 11th Baron North and Frederica Cockerell, on 23 January 1889.¹ He died on 24 February 1939 at age 74.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1884 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)¹ He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1886 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He was awarded the Knight, Order of Leopold of Belgium.¹ He held the office of Recorder of Newbury between 1904 and 1935.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire in 1914.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.¹ He lived at Wroxton, Banbury, Oxfordshire, England^G.³

     Lt.-Col. Arthur Frederick Reginald Wiggins married Joyce Mary Hedley, daughter of Dr. Edward Hedley, on 20 May 1948.¹ He died in 1961.¹

     Susan Jane Barber was born in 1930.¹ She is the daughter of Thomas Cecil Barber and Joyce Mary Hedley.¹ She married, firstly, Gilbert Ian Noel Hope Johnstone, son of Colonel unknown Hope Johnstone, on 17 April 1951.¹ She and Gilbert Ian Noel Hope Johnstone were divorced in 1965.¹ She married, secondly, David Day after 1965.¹
     From 17 April 1951, her married name became Hope Johnstone.¹ From after 1965, her married name became Day.¹

     David Day married Susan Jane Barber, daughter of Thomas Cecil Barber and Joyce Mary Hedley, after 1965.¹ He died in 1970.¹

     Robin Philip Wentworth Hope Johnstone was born on 22 January 1956.¹ He is the son of Gilbert Ian Noel Hope Johnstone and Susan Jane Barber.¹

     Rosanna Jane Hope Johnstone was born on 8 March 1958.¹ She is the daughter of Gilbert Ian Noel Hope Johnstone and Susan Jane Barber.¹ She married Andrew Hugh Hope, son of Lt.-Col. Hugh Alexander Hope and Cynthia Evelyn Turnor, in 1982.¹ She and Andrew Hugh Hope were divorced in 1992.²
     From 1982, her married name became Hope.¹
