     Andrew Hugh Hope was born on 19 March 1951.² He is the son of Lt.-Col. Hugh Alexander Hope and Cynthia Evelyn Turnor.² He married Rosanna Jane Hope Johnstone, daughter of Gilbert Ian Noel Hope Johnstone and Susan Jane Barber, in 1982.¹ He and Rosanna Jane Hope Johnstone were divorced in 1992.²
     He was educated at Quantock School, Somerset, England.²

     Clara Harriet Hope was born in 1984.¹ She is the daughter of Andrew Hugh Hope and Rosanna Jane Hope Johnstone.¹ She was also reported to have been born in 1986.²

     Joan Barber was born on 7 May 1907.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Philip Barber, 1st Bt. and Beatrice Mary Merritt.¹ She married Rev. Canon Sydney John Galloway in 1934.¹ She died in 1995.¹
     From 1934, her married name became Galloway.¹

     Rev. Canon Sydney John Galloway married Joan Barber, daughter of Sir Thomas Philip Barber, 1st Bt. and Beatrice Mary Merritt, in 1934.¹ He died in 1969.¹

     Beatrice Naomi Barber was born on 27 April 1911.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Thomas Philip Barber, 1st Bt. and Beatrice Mary Merritt.¹ She married F/Lt. Charles David Stewart on 5 December 1939.¹
     From 5 December 1939, her married name became Stewart.¹ She lived in 2003 at The Manse, Moorgreen, Newthorpe, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹

     F/Lt. Charles David Stewart married Beatrice Naomi Barber, daughter of Sir Thomas Philip Barber, 1st Bt. and Beatrice Mary Merritt, on 5 December 1939.¹ He died in 1940, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.¹ He fought in the Second World War.

     Honor Barber was born on 21 May 1914.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Thomas Philip Barber, 1st Bt. and Beatrice Mary Merritt.¹ She married Commander Noel Hunt on 8 February 1947.¹
     From 8 February 1947, her married name became Hunt.¹ She lived in 2003 at Limehurst, Hallam Road, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Commander Noel Hunt married Honor Barber, daughter of Sir Thomas Philip Barber, 1st Bt. and Beatrice Mary Merritt, on 8 February 1947.¹ He died in 1974.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Diana Constance Lloyd was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Lloyd.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Sir William Francis Barber, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Philip Barber, 1st Bt. and Beatrice Mary Merritt, on 28 October 1936.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Sir William Francis Barber, 2nd Bt. were divorced in 1978.¹ She died in 1984.¹
     From 28 October 1936, her married name became Barber.¹

     Lt.-Col. Thomas Lloyd lived at Miniard, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹
