     Guy Nicholas Palmes was born on 14 July 1894.¹ He was the son of Reverend George Palmes and Eva Blanche Harrison.¹ He died on 9 May 1915 at age 20 at Belgium, killed in action.²
     He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.²

     Lt.-Cdr. Stephen Saltmarshe Palmes was born on 4 September 1895.¹ He was the son of Reverend George Palmes and Eva Blanche Harrison.¹ He married Hillaria Rosamund Strange, daughter of Reverend William Robert Pearson Strange and Edith Henrietta Burrell, in 1922.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.²

     Maud Cecil Palmes was born in 1883.² She was the daughter of Reverend George Palmes and Eva Blanche Harrison.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Edward Albert Porch, son of John Albert Porch, on 14 June 1904 at York, Yokrshire, England.^1,3
     From 14 June 1904, her married name became Porch.¹

     Lt.-Col. Edward Albert Porch was the son of John Albert Porch.² He married Maud Cecil Palmes, daughter of Reverend George Palmes and Eva Blanche Harrison, on 14 June 1904 at York, Yokrshire, England.^1,3 He died in 1937.²
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the West Yorkshire Regiment.¹

     Blanche Marjorie Palmes was born in 1885.² She was the daughter of Reverend George Palmes and Eva Blanche Harrison.¹

     Mary Evelyn Palmes was born in 1886.² She was the daughter of Reverend George Palmes and Eva Blanche Harrison.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Alfred Edward Cecil Cart de la Fontaine, son of Henry Cart de la Fontaine, in 1913.³ She married, secondly, Charles Gordon Ferrier in 1919.⁴ She died in 1959.³
     From 1913, her married name became Cart de la Fontaine.³ From 1919, her married name became Ferrier.⁴

     Reverend Arthur Lindsay Palmes was born on 18 April 1853.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Lindsay Palmes and Marianne Empson.¹ He married Alice Massingberd Maxwell Hogg, daughter of John Roughton Hogg and Anna Maria Maxwell-Lyte, on 22 June 1881.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.² He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1879 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He held the office of Prebendary of Endellion.¹ He lived at Naburn Hall, Palmes Close, Naburn, Yorkshire, England.² He lived at Berry Head House, Brixham, Devon, England.²

     Emily Jeannette M. Craigie was born on 11 December 1824 at Calcutta, India.² She was the daughter of Colonel John Craigie and Emily Churchill.^3,1 She married, firstly, John Walker Maxwell-Lyte, son of Henry Francis Lyte and Anne Maxwell, on 22 June 1847 at St. George’s Hanover Square, London, England.¹ She married, secondly, Frederick Charles Maitland, son of Sir Alexander Charles Maitland, 2nd Bt. and Helen Gibson-Wright, on 8 February 1872.⁴ She died on 6 January 1890 at age 65.⁴
     From 22 June 1847, her married name became Maxwell-Lyte.¹ From 8 February 1872, her married name became Maitland.⁴

     Sir Henry Churchill Maxwell-Lyte was born on 29 May 1848 at 1 Hyde Park Terrace, London, England.² He was the son of John Walker Maxwell-Lyte and Emily Jeannette M. Craigie.¹ He married Frances Fownes Somerville, daughter of James Curtis Somerville and Emily Periam Hood.¹

     John Lindsay Palmes was born on 10 March 1887.² He was the son of Reverend Arthur Lindsay Palmes and Alice Massingberd Maxwell Hogg.¹ He died in 1913, unmarried.²
