     Her married name became Erskine. She was awarded the Kaisar-i-Hind Gold Medal.¹ She was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)¹

     Frederick William Fane Hervey, 4th Marquess of Bristol was born on 8 November 1863.¹ He was the son of Lord Augustus Henry Charles Hervey and Mariana Hodnett.¹ He married Alice Frances Theodora Wythes, daughter of George Edward Wythes, on 6 December 1896.¹ He died on 24 October 1951 at age 87.¹

Margaret Douglas-Pennant, on 24 April 1948.¹ He died on 22 December 1993 at age 72.^1,3

Margaret Douglas-Pennant.¹ She married John Francis Hervey Erskine, 13th Earl of Mar, son of Major John Francis Ashley Erskine, Lord Erskine and Lady Marjorie Hervey, on 24 April 1948.¹ She died on 9 August 1996 at age 74.¹
     Her married name became Erskine. After her marriage, Pansy Constance Thorne was styled as Countess of Mar on 3 June 1955. She was U.K. President of Unicef between 1979 and 1984.¹ After her marriage, Pansy Constance Thorne was styled as Dowager Countess of Mar and Kellie in 1993.
