     Isabella Augusta Persse was born on 15 March 1852.¹ She was the daughter of Dudley Persse and Frances Barry.³ She married Rt. Hon. Sir William Henry Gregory, son of Robert Gregory and Elizabeth O’Hara, on 4 March 1880.¹ She died on 22 May 1932 at age 80.¹
     Isabella Augusta Persse usually went by her middle name of Augusta.² From 4 March 1880, her married name became Gregory. Yeats wrote ‘she had made the people part of her soul.¹‘ She was co-founder of Abbey Theatre, Dublin.¹ She was a playwright.¹

     Paul Curry Treby was baptised in 1786 at Plympton St. Mary, Devon, England.¹ He was the son of Paul Treby Treby and Letitia Anne Trelawny.¹ He died in 1862 at Plympton St. Mary, Devon, England.¹

     Reverend Arthur Bennet Mesham was the Rector at Wootton, Kent, England.¹

     Rose Mesham was the daughter of Reverend Arthur Bennet Mesham.² She married Major William Norton Persse, son of Dudley Persse and Frances Barry, on 11 September 1860.¹ She died on 23 May 1909.²

     Major William Arthur Persse was born on 8 September 1863.¹ He was the son of Major William Norton Persse and Rose Mesham.² He married Katherine Ellen Gehle, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry John Wolsteyn Gehle, on 18 January 1894.¹ He died on 25 July 1925 at age 61.¹

     Dudley Jocelyn Persse was born on 24 July 1873.¹ He was the son of Major William Norton Persse and Rose Mesham.² He married Aldyth Lorna Hutton, daughter of John Timothy D’Arcy Hutton, on 15 December 1938.¹ He died, without issue.¹
     Dudley Jocelyn Persse usually went by his middle name of Jocelyn. He was a friend (and inspiration) of Henry James.¹ He was the novelist.¹
