     Jane Arbuthnot was born on 22 October 1816 at 47 Queen Street, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² She was the daughter of George Arbuthnot and Elizabeth Fraser.^1,2 She married George Stephens Gough, 2nd Viscount Gough of Goojerat, son of Field Marshal Hugh Gough, 1st Viscount Gough of Goojerat and Frances Maria Stephens, on 3 June 1846.¹ She died on 3 February 1892 at age 75.¹
     From 3 June 1846, her married name became Gough.¹ After her marriage, Jane Arbuthnot was styled as Viscountess Gough of Goojerat on 2 March 1869.

     Colonel Hon. George Hugh Gough was born on 25 July 1852.¹ He was the son of George Stephens Gough, 2nd Viscount Gough of Goojerat and Jane Arbuthnot.¹ He married Hilda Eve Moffatt, daughter of George Moffatt, on 13 March 1884.¹ He died on 29 March 1900 at age 47 at Norval’s Pont, South Africa.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Assistant Military Secretary to the HQ DAAG Curragh between 1887 and 1889.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was Private Secretary to the Commander-in-Chief, Army between 1897 and 1898.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 14th Hussars.¹

     Hilda Eve Moffatt was the daughter of George Moffatt.¹ She married Colonel Hon. George Hugh Gough, son of George Stephens Gough, 2nd Viscount Gough of Goojerat and Jane Arbuthnot, on 13 March 1884.¹ She died on 3 June 1947.¹
     From 13 March 1884, her married name became Gough.¹

     George Moffatt held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹ He lived at Goodrich Court, Herefordshire, England^G.¹

     Guy Vincent Hugh Gough was born on 9 December 1887.¹ He was the son of Colonel Hon. George Hugh Gough and Hilda Eve Moffatt.¹ He married Lily Margaret Parry, daughter of G. Graham Parry, on 8 September 1928.¹ He died on 26 March 1959 at age 71, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Lily Margaret Parry is the daughter of G. Graham Parry.¹ She married, firstly, Major William Robert Gregory, son of Rt. Hon. Sir William Henry Gregory and Isabella Augusta Persse, on 26 September 1907 at Paddington, London, England.^1,2 She married, secondly, Guy Vincent Hugh Gough, son of Colonel Hon. George Hugh Gough and Hilda Eve Moffatt, on 8 September 1928.¹
     From 26 September 1907, her married name became Gregory.¹ From 8 September 1928, her married name became Gough.¹ She lived in 1976 at White Lodge, Budleigh Salterton, Devon, England.³

     G. Graham Parry lived at Cobham, Virginia, U.S.A.² He lived at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Major William Robert Gregory was born on 20 May 1881.² He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir William Henry Gregory and Isabella Augusta Persse.^3,2 He married Lily Margaret Parry, daughter of G. Graham Parry, on 26 September 1907 at Paddington, London, England.^1,4 He died on 23 January 1918 at age 36 at Italy, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.² He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He was a boxer, painter, cricketer and horseman.² He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.² He lived at Coole Park, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Flying Corps.² He fought in the First World War.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917.²

     George Patrick Gough was born on 29 March 1889.¹ He was the son of Colonel Hon. George Hugh Gough and Hilda Eve Moffatt.¹ He died on 12 July 1936 at age 47, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Irish Guards.¹
