     Blanche Emma Beatrice Case is the daughter of John Ashton Case.² She married Maj.-Gen. George Hamilton Gordon, son of Robert Cumming Hamilton Gordon and Frances Freer, on 22 November 1860.¹
     From 22 November 1860, her married name became Gordon.

     Edward Hyde Hamilton Gordon was born on 8 November 1861.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. George Hamilton Gordon and Blanche Emma Beatrice Case.² He married, firstly, Cecilia Maude Manders, daughter of Robert Manders, on 4 January 1888.¹ He married, secondly, Hilda Winifred D’Arcy Hutton, daughter of John Timothy D’Arcy Hutton, on 14 October 1897.¹ He and Hilda Winifred D’Arcy Hutton were divorced.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Gordon Highlanders.¹ He fought in the Sudan Expedition in 1884.¹

     Robert Manders lived at Landscape, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Cecilia Maude Manders was the daughter of Robert Manders.² She married Edward Hyde Hamilton Gordon, son of Maj.-Gen. George Hamilton Gordon and Blanche Emma Beatrice Case, on 4 January 1888.¹ She died on 3 April 1892.¹
     From 4 January 1888, her married name became Gordon.

     Stella Gordon was born on 30 March 1892.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Hyde Hamilton Gordon and Cecilia Maude Manders.² She married Colonel Percy Lovell Clare Haslam, son of J. P. Haslam, on 8 January 1914.¹
     From 8 January 1914, her married name became Haslam.

     J. P. Haslam lived at Ravenswood, Bolton, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Colonel Percy Lovell Clare Haslam is the son of J. P. Haslam.² He married Stella Gordon, daughter of Edward Hyde Hamilton Gordon and Cecilia Maude Manders, on 8 January 1914.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 18th Hussars.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Rt. Hon. Sir John Eldon Gorst was born on 24 May 1835.² He was the son of Sir Edward Chaddock Lowndes.¹ He married Mary Elizabeth Moore in 1860 at Geelong, Victoria, Australia.² He died on 4 April 1916 at age 80.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)⁴
