Arthur Lawrence Haliburton, 1st and last Baron Haliburton of Windsor1 
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of London.2 He graduated from King’s College, Nova Scotia, CanadaG, with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)2 He was Director of Supplies and Transport at the War Office between 1878 and 1888.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1880.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1885.2 He held the office of Assistant Under-Secretary of State for War between 1888 and 1895.2 He held the office of Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, War Office between 1895 and 1897.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1897.2 He was created 1st Baron Haliburton of Windsor, in Nova Scotia [U.K.] on 13 June 1898.1 On his death, his title became extinct.2
