     On 14 June 1873 she was granted the rank of a baron’s daughter.2 Her married name became Dewhurst.

     Mary Jane Denne was baptised on 12 May 1792 at Winchelsea, Sussex, England.2 She was the daughter of Richard Denne and Mary (?)1,2 She married Sir Robert William Newman, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Newman and Sarah Page, on 21 September 1813.3 She died on 28 July 1834 at age 42.3
     Her married name became Newman.

Sir Alexander Hope and Georgiana Brown.1 He married, firstly, Charlotte Harriet Jane Lockhart, daughter of John Gibson Lockhart and Charlotte Sophia Scott, on 19 August 1847.1 He married, secondly, Lady Victoria Alexandrina Fitzalan-Howard, daughter of Henry Granville Fitzalan-Howard, 14th Duke of Norfolk and Hon. Augusta Mary Mina Catherine Lyons, on 7 January 1861.1 He died on 29 April 1873 at age 60.1
     He was given the name of James Robert Hope at birth.2 His name was legally changed to James Robert Hope-Scott.2 He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.)1 He lived at AbbotsfordG.1
