Glamorgan [U.K., 1905] on 1 October 1943.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Plymouth, co. Devon [U.K., 1905] on 1 October 1943.1 He succeeded as the 16th Lord Windsor [E., 1529] on 1 October 1943.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.) in 1953.1 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)1 He was Trustee of the National Gallery between 1960 and 1967.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire in 1961.1 He was member of the Standing Commission on Museums and Galleries between 1972 and 1982.3 He was chairman of the Reviewing Committee for Works of Art between 1982 and 1985.3 He lived in 2003 at The Stables, Oakley Park, Ludlow, Shropshire, England.3
