     He was a stockbroker.³

     Victoria Alexandrina Leopoldine Bridgeman was born on 19 July 1894.¹ She was the daughter of Charles George Orlando Bridgeman and Sidney Gardiner.¹ She died on 15 January 1961 at age 66, unmarried.¹

     Elizabeth Laura Smith was born on 20 July 1832.¹ She was the daughter of Martin Tucker Smith and Louisa Ridley.¹ She married Thomas Holdsworth Newman, son of Sir Robert William Newman, 1st Bt. and Mary Jane Denne, on 21 April 1864.² She died on 7 June 1909 at age 76.²

     Thomas Holdsworth Newman was born on 6 February 1825.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert William Newman, 1st Bt. and Mary Jane Denne.¹ He married Elizabeth Laura Smith, daughter of Martin Tucker Smith and Louisa Ridley, on 21 April 1864.¹ He died on 27 January 1894 at age 68.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Devon Yeomanry Cavalry.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹ He lived at Coryton, Devon, England^G.²

     Martin Stuart Smith was born on 11 May 1863.¹ He was the son of Martin Ridley-Smith and Emily Catherine Stuart.¹ He died in 1865.¹
