Thomas Windsor Windsor, 1st Earl of Plymouth1 
He was given the name of Thomas Windsor Hickman at birth.3 On 6 December 1641 his name was legally changed to Thomas Windsor Windsor.3 He fought in the Battle of Naseby in 1645.2 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Naseby between 1660 and 1687.2 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Windsor [E., 1529] on 16 June 1660, when teh title came out of abeyance.1 He held the office of Govern of Jamaica from 1661 to February 1663/64.2 He was created 1st Earl of Plymouth [England] on 6 December 1682.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1685.2 He gained the rank of Colonel between 1685 and 1687 in the 3rd Dragoon Guards.2
