     Lt.-Cdr. Dudley Stuart was born on 8 November 1883.¹ He was the son of Commander Dudley Charles Stuart and Amy Clara Page.¹ He died on 1 June 1916 at age 32, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Battle of Horn Reef on 1 June 1916.¹

     Henry Stuart was born on 30 July 1886.¹ He was the son of Commander Dudley Charles Stuart and Amy Clara Page.¹ He married Jane Elizabeth Henderson, daughter of William Fraser Simpson Henderson, on 15 August 1919.¹ He died on 12 February 1936 at age 49.¹

     Jane Elizabeth Henderson is the daughter of William Fraser Simpson Henderson.¹ She married Henry Stuart, son of Commander Dudley Charles Stuart and Amy Clara Page, on 15 August 1919.¹
     Her married name became Stuart.

     William Fraser Simpson Henderson lived at Meikle Camalown, Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Kenneth Freemantle Stuart was born on 4 June 1895.¹ He was the son of Commander Dudley Charles Stuart and Amy Clara Page.¹ He died in 1917, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War. He gained the rank of Private in the Black Watch.¹

     Heather Sybil Stuart was born on 7 February 1900.¹ She is the daughter of Commander Dudley Charles Stuart and Amy Clara Page.¹ She married Alfred Mutlow Grosvenor Herd on 2 September 1930.¹
     Her married name became Herd.

     Alexander Macdonald, 1st Baron Macdonald of Slate was born circa 1745.¹ He was the son of Sir Alexander Macdonald, 14th of Sleat, 7th Bt. and Lady Margaret Montgomerie.¹ He married Elizabeth Diana Bosville, daughter of Godfrey Bosville and Diana Wentworth, on 3 May 1768 at St. Gile’s-in-the-Fields Church, London, England^G.¹ He died on 12 September 1795.³ He was buried on 23 September 1795 at St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster, London, England^G.³
     He matriculated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G, on 1 November 1758.³ He gained the rank of Ensign in 1761 in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Macdonald, of Sleat, in the Isle of Skye, co. Inverness [N.S., 1625] on 26 July 1766.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Inverness-shire.⁴ He was created 1st Baron Macdonald of Slate, co. Antrim [Ireland] on 25 July 1776.¹ In 1778 he raised the Macdonald Higlanders.⁴ He gained the rank of Brigidier-General in the Royal Company of Archers.⁴ Between 1794 and 1795 he raised another regiment from the Highlands and the Islands.⁴

     Elizabeth Diana Bosville was baptised on 25 July 1748 at Denby Chapel, Denby, Derbyshire, England^G.^1,2 She was the daughter of Godfrey Bosville and Diana Wentworth.¹ She married Alexander Macdonald, 1st Baron Macdonald of Slate, son of Sir Alexander Macdonald, 14th of Sleat, 7th Bt. and Lady Margaret Montgomerie, on 3 May 1768 at St. Gile’s-in-the-Fields Church, London, England^G.¹ She died on 18 October 1789 at age 41 at Great George Street, London, England^G.² She was buried on 22 October 1789 at St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster, London, England^G.²
     Her married name became Macdonald. After her marriage, Elizabeth Diana Bosville was styled as Baroness Macdonald of Slate on 17 July 1776.¹
