     Bettyne Ione Everard is the daughter of Sir William Lindsay Everard and Cornelia Ione Kathleen Beresford-Armstrong.^1,3 She married, firstly, Denis Anthony Brian Butler, 9th Earl of Lanesborough, son of Henry Cavendish Butler, 8th Earl of Lanesborough and Grace Lilian Abdy, on 20 December 1939.¹ She and Denis Anthony Brian Butler, 9th Earl of Lanesborough were divorced in 1950.¹ She married, secondly, Richard Peter Michael Spencer.³
     Her married name became Spencer.³ Her married name became Butler.

     Sir William Lindsay Everard married Cornelia Ione Kathleen Beresford-Armstrong, daughter of Captain Marcus Beresford Armstrong and Rosalie Cornelia Maude.³
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Leicestershire.¹ Sir William Lindsay Everard usually went by his middle name of Lindsay. He lived at Ratcliffe Hall, Leicestershire, England^G.¹

     Captain John Vansittart Danvers Butler, 6th Earl of Lanesborough was born on 18 April 1839.¹ He was the son of Hon. Charles Augustus Butler-Danvers and Letitia Rudyard Ross Freese.² He married Anne Elizabeth Clark, daughter of Reverend John Dixon Clark and Annie Fenwick, on 21 June 1864.¹ He died on 12 September 1905 at age 66.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Lanesborough [I., 1756] on 7 July 1866.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Lanesborough [I., 1728] on 7 July 1866.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baron Newtown Butler [I., 1715] on 7 July 1866.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Cavan between 1876 and 1900.¹ He was appointed Representative Peer [Ireland].¹

     Anne Elizabeth Clark was born in 1845 at Belford, Northumberland, England.² She was the daughter of Reverend John Dixon Clark and Annie Fenwick.^1,2 She married Captain John Vansittart Danvers Butler, 6th Earl of Lanesborough, son of Hon. Charles Augustus Butler-Danvers and Letitia Rudyard Ross Freese, on 21 June 1864.¹ She died on 10 September 1909.¹
     Her married name became Butler. After her marriage, Anne Elizabeth Clark was styled as Countess of Lanesborough on 7 July 1866.

     Reverend John Dixon Clark was born on 16 January 1812 at Longbeaton, Northumberland, England.² He is the son of Lt.-Col. William Clark and Mary Brown.² He married Annie Fenwick on 8 June 1843 at Durham, County Durham, England.² He died in 1870 at Westminster, London, England.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Belford Hall, Northumberland, England^G.¹

     Georgina Ione Butler was born on 15 August 1941.¹ She was the daughter of Denis Anthony Brian Butler, 9th Earl of Lanesborough and Bettyne Ione Everard.¹ She died on 28 December 1947 at age 6.¹

     Lady Denyne Butler was born on 23 February 1945.¹ She is the daughter of Denis Anthony Brian Butler, 9th Earl of Lanesborough and Bettyne Ione Everard.¹

     Hon. Patrick Henry Stanley Danvers Butler was born on 27 December 1920 at Kensington, London, England.² He was the son of Henry Cavendish Butler, 8th Earl of Lanesborough and Grace Lilian Abdy.¹ He died on 28 February 1944 at age 23 at Anzio, Italy, killed in action.²
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards.¹

     Violet Abdy was born on 4 January 1892.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Sir Anthony Charles Sykes Abdy, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Alexandrina Victoria Bosville Macdonald.¹ She married Hugh Godsal, son of Edward Hugh Godsal, on 5 January 1925.¹ She died on 22 August 1957 at age 65.¹
     Her married name became Godsal.
