     Hariot Alston was the daughter of Rowland Alston.¹ She married Sir Thomas Neville Abdy, 1st Bt., son of Captain Anthony Thomas Abdy and Grace Rich, on 19 October 1841.¹ She died on 8 July 1877.¹
     Her married name became Abdy.

     Rowland Alston lived at Pishiobury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Sir William Neville Abdy, 2nd Bt. was born on 18 June 1844.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Neville Abdy, 1st Bt. and Hariot Alston.¹ He married, firstly, Marie Theresa Petritzka, daughter of unknown Petritzka, on 10 July 1883.¹ He married, secondly, Eliza Sarah Beech, daughter of Oscar William Beech, on 6 December 1902.¹ He and Eliza Sarah Beech were divorced in 1905.¹ He married, thirdly, Florence Cohn, daughter of Major Lehmann Louis Cohn, on 16 February 1909.¹ He died on 9 August 1910 at age 66, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Abdy, of Albyns, Essex [U.K., 1850] on 20 July 1877.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1884.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.¹

     Captain Sir Anthony Charles Sykes Abdy, 3rd Bt. was born on 19 September 1848.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Neville Abdy, 1st Bt. and Hariot Alston.¹ He married Hon. Alexandrina Victoria Bosville Macdonald, daughter of Godfrey William Wentworth Bosville Macdonald, 4th Baron Macdonald of Slate and Maria Anne Wyndham, on 11 November 1886.¹ He died on 17 May 1921 at age 72.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Life Guards.¹ He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.¹ He held the office of Military Attaché to Vienna in 1885.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Abdy, of Albyns, Essex [U.K., 1850] on 9 August 1910.¹

     Sir Henry Beadon Abdy, 4th Bt. was born on 13 July 1853.² He was the son of Sir Thomas Neville Abdy, 1st Bt. and Hariot Alston.¹ He married Anna Adele Coronna on 22 March 1891.² He died on 1 December 1921 at age 68.²
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Abdy, of Albyns, Essex [U.K., 1850] on 17 May 1921.²

     Anna Adele Coronna married Sir Henry Beadon Abdy, 4th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Neville Abdy, 1st Bt. and Hariot Alston, on 22 March 1891.¹ She died on 21 March 1920.¹
     Her married name became Abdy.

     James Freyberg was born in 1828.¹ He married Julia Hamilton.¹ He died in 1912.
     He lived at Wellington, New Zealand^G.¹

     Deirdre Knewstub is the daughter of John Knewstub.¹ She married Charles Melville McLaren, 3rd Baron Aberconway, son of Henry Duncan McLaren, 2nd Baron Aberconway and Christabel Mary Melville Macnaghten, on 6 December 1941.¹ She and Charles Melville McLaren, 3rd Baron Aberconway were divorced in 1949.¹
