     Hon. Francis Almeric Butler was born on 17 May 1872 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.² He was the son of Captain John Vansittart Danvers Butler, 6th Earl of Lanesborough and Anne Elizabeth Clark.² He married Madeline Gibbs, daughter of Richard Birkett Gibbs, on 11 February 1902.³ He died on 8 May 1925 at age 52.³
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Hampshire Yeomanry.³

     Maida Daughne Laurel Butler was born on 20 April 1906.^2,3 She was the daughter of Hon. Francis Almeric Butler and Madeline Gibbs.^4,3 She married Commander Christopher Bryan Stracey-Clitherow, son of Commander Eustace William Clitherow Stracey-Clitherow and Frances Evelyn Veronica Stansfield, on 26 November 1928.¹ She died on 30 September 2000 at age 94.²
     From 26 November 1928, her married name became Stracey-Clitherow.

     Dominic Peter Stracey-Clitherow was born on 13 September 1939.¹ He is the son of Commander Christopher Bryan Stracey-Clitherow and Maida Daughne Laurel Butler.² He married Penelope Bronwyn Griffiths, daughter of Leonard Griffiths, on 13 February 1971.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He graduated from London University, London, England, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He gained the rank of Weapons and Electrical Engineering Officer between 1958 and 1972 in the Royal Navy.¹ He graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was registered as a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.)³ He was an engineering consultant and project manager at New Zealand.¹ He lived in 2003 at 3 St. Aubyn Street, Devonport, Auckland, New Zealand.¹

     Leonard Griffiths lived at Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire, England.¹

     Penelope Bronwyn Griffiths is the daughter of Leonard Griffiths.² She married Dominic Peter Stracey-Clitherow, son of Commander Christopher Bryan Stracey-Clitherow and Maida Daughne Laurel Butler, on 13 February 1971.¹
     From 13 February 1971, her married name became Stracey-Clitherow.
